I'm also in favor in principle. It looks like there are some safeguards built in, which need to be enforced.

Mikey prolly has something similar down his way.

Here along the border we have a lot of folks that show up in RVs and trailers behind a fifth wheel and they park them along the border. The residents of said RVs then enter Mexico daily for treatment or to buy certain drugs not available in the US. Some of these doctors are quacks. Others are totally legit and make a thriving practice treating gringos.

Yeah I think that happens a lot. People also used to go to TJ just to buy gas because it was so much cheaper. Not from my neighborhood because we're about 70 miles from the border. A whole lot of people live in Mexico and work in San Diego. From what I hear the border crossing can take a couple of hours on a normal weekday.


A bunch of the big local hospitals are actually trying to turn San Diego into a hub for medical tourism.

...there should be suicide centers all across the country where any person can walk in to the center, sign the paperwork and be put to sleep.
