Yamiche Alcindor, a White House correspondent for PBS NewsHour, questioned whether the president's use of the word "nationalism" at several rallies ahead of the midterm was a dog whistle for "white nationalism," as many of his critics have suggested.

"That's such a racist question," Trump said. "What you just said is so insulting to me. It's a very terrible thing that you said."

Trump the racist doesn't like it when anyone questions him, especially balck women.

Hmmm. Wonder why?

So the President uses the word “nationalism.” A reporter then wants to add the word white in front of nationalism. A word the President never used in that context. But somehow the President is the racist here?

The reporter is the one who brings race into play here.

Anyone who runs for a seat in the national government is by definition a "nationalist." Either that, or a "traitor," who seeks to use the office for nefarious purposes.

I am still waiting for any actual evidence of Trump being a racist.

They all like to point at his "good people on both sides" comment as his saying "Nazis are good people".

Everyone knows that it was an example of Trump actually trying to defuse tensions for a change. By "good people on both sides" he was referring to peaceful hippies and decent southerners who don't want to see all traces of their heritage erased. As is generally the case, he could have said it better. But he should get credit for actually making an attempt to calm things in this case, rather than lob bombs.
