I have to laugh about this scientist's sugarcoated response to the AGW report that came out of the White House a couple of weeks ago concerning the planet Venus and what it can teach us about CO2 and climate change. In essence, he is likening Earth's future potential atmosphere to Venus and making comparisons. He says, 'Much of the appeal of Venus comes from the fact that despite its horrifying modern appearance, it's actually really similar to Earth. "Picture a planet that's just like Earth but it's a little hotter because it's a little closer to the sun — and that would be Venus," David Grinspoon, a planetary scientist and astrobiologist at the Planetary Science Institute, told Space.com.'

Lol, "a little closer to the sun" makes it sound like Venus is just another moon of ours and not a third of the way enroute to that blazingly hot object which is the primary engine for climate change. Yeah, being 50 million kilometers closer to the surface of the Sun is negligible in terms of why Venus is 880*C! Is it any wonder why people are highly skeptical of "climate science"?
