Re: Go Fund Me - Trump's Border Wall
You took the words outta my mouf, SC. Mediocre minds think alike, I recon.
And the fact that Trump and the dems haven't gotten together on a number of things, is evidence of how fukked the system is.
Twenty plus years ago, silck Willy was smart enough to jump on the bandwagon with a few of the Republican causes and it ensured his popularity for the remainder of his term. Things are so fukking disfunctional and tribal now, that I just don't see it happening. I think Trump would do it in a heartbeat, as we all know that his ego requires he be liked by as many people as possible. But Nancy and Chuck, along with the modern day Democratic party are in all out, scorched earth political war with him.
Had they played their cards right and tried to find common ground with him early on, they could have gotten somewhere. But they went right straight to this RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! nonsense which caused the D to say fukk you!!! and it turned him into a functional conservative, out of spite.
So now we have the fukked up devisiveness we have.
What happens next?
If the dems and the their stooges in the MSM have their way, they take complete control once they get Texas brown enough to flip. Then it's game fukking over, I suppose. The question you have to ask yourself then, is what happens now that we are a socialist country with a boatload of melanin? Look around the world. If there is a functional socialist country with such a demographic, I'd like you to point it out to me.
If the economy does hang in there and Trump continues to chip away at the minority lock dems have on folks that don't need tanning beds, maybe the reps gain ground. If they do AND the Republicans get closer to a Libertarian way of thinking, I think they are unstoppable. The Southern Baptists might get butt hurt and try to succeed....again, but they'd get over it. The number of single issue democrats (abortion) that would admit that government does suck at everything and they like having money left in their paycheck, would cancel them out easily.

Like you, BSmack has never been shy about his liberalism. In this binary little community in which we post, if you're not conservative, you must be liberal. BSmack said, "There is nothing conservative about Trump." So if he's not conservative, what must he be?Screw_Michigan wrote:Who's side?Smackie Chan wrote: So are you claiming him for your side?
Does everything need to be spelled out for you?

Our boy is hitting the ground running to retain his hard-earned 2018 title in 2019. But hey - spelling, punctuation, and grammar aren't required tools of the trade in his line of work, so errors such as this might be expected.Mikey wrote:I'll volunteer.Smackie Chan wrote:Does everything need to be spelled out for you?

Re: Go Fund Me - Trump's Border Wall
Do you agree with BSmack that "there is nothing conservative about Trump"? If you do, what label from the political ideology spectrum would you assign to him? I disagree with BSmack. There are many things about Trump that ring of conservatism. Government spending is not one of them, which is the point I believe B was trying to make. But that's just my read. I'd prefer he clarify it himself.Screw_Michigan wrote:Patently absurd.Smackie Chan wrote:In this binary little community in which we post, if you're not conservative, you must be liberal.
Yeah, when you compare how much I post here with, say, you, it's readily apparent that I have more free time. You have way too much time on your hands.
