Lambs v. Ain'ts

Post by FiatLux »

Get Gurley's ass outta there. He's killing the lambs. C.J. moves them downfield and Gurley kills the drive with another dropped pass. The first drop caused an interception. The lambs need the Cal backfield out there on every play.

OT in the living room.

Real football should be played outdoors.

Good game.

As an official this just doesn’t comprehend. Did the covering official fall? Did he have a mini stroke? Nothing short of something catastrophic can explain that no call.

Complete bullshit.

Clearly pass interference, which would have ended the game.

Go fuck yourself.

Goff outplayed Brees.

Were you watching the same game as the rest of the country?

How would a PI have "ended the game"?

They would have been in great FG position... and they still made a FG regardless.

Would they have scored a TD had P been called? Maybe.

Could those extra 3 downs have resulted in a turnover? Sure they could have.

Tough to count those chickens before they hatch.

It the end it is still just a game. Unfortunately it has a lot of people gambling on it and the result has some folks losing. As a retired football official of 40 seasons, it proves what I've always thought---that even the "best" can blow a call. They don't blow many, but when they do it has huge repercussions.

It was a pretty bad no-call but the refs gave the Aint's the make-up call in OT, and they still turned the ball over. They also missed a blatant face mask on Goff, so we'll call it even.

Worst call in NFL history, considering what was at stake.

Hope the Rams get beat by 5 TDs.
The Raiders got skrewed by the ridiculous "tuck rule" bullshit call, and that was worse because the play C. Woodson made ended the game.

This play today was very bad, though.

I guess the only explanation is that the official thought the ball was already past the receiver when the contact was made.
Tough sell, though, because it definitely wasn't.
No replay on such a call.

Bitter loss for NO fans.
I'd be pissed.

Refs told Payton they both arrived at the ball at the same time.
Worst call in NFL history
:meds: That would be the Music City Mugging. Forward pass.

It was a headshot on a defenseless receiver. It didn't matter if it was interference or not.

Helmet contact was side-to-side, it's a tempest in a teapot.
