The Beatles "rooftop" concert, promoting the Let it Be album. It would turn out to be the last time they played together in public.

Gotta go see if I can find the complete movie somewhere.

Hard to believe this happened when was 13 fucking years old.
Even harder to believe that Paul and Ringo are still doing it.

The “rooftop” concert is about the last 20 minutes of this film. Incredible footage from an incredible band.

The performance would have been a lot better if Paul had been thrown from the rooftop to his death.

Seems the Beatles are best known today for commercial jingles. That's what happens when you sell your life's work to pitch products like Jimmy Dean's breakfast bowls.

You're kidding right?
You must be watching too much TV.

WTF is a Jimmy Dean breakfast bowl?

Ask anyone under 30 what they think of the Beattles. They'll more than likely say who? Or that they heard parts of their songs in comercials.

Don't sell the younger generation short.
I have two kids that are both under 30 and they're both huge fans of the Beatles (the Beach Boys too).

Of course, they're both very inquisitive types and have reasonably well adjusted, intelligent parents, who made sure that they were exposed to as much knowledge and culture as possible.

...and they were forced to watch Yellow Submarine from a very early age.
