I dl'd the new album a few weeks ago and have listened a few times. It's a lot different than his older stuff. Very understated and bluesy with some covers of old songs by artists like John Lee Hooker, Willie Dixon, Sam Cooke, etc.
Really looking forward to this show. Had a very bad experience at the Wiltern once, but I'm trying not to let that affect this trip.
We're spending the night in LA and going up to the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena on Thursday. The wife has always wanted to see that place.
