I didn’t read it and don’t really care. I live here but my kids have been grown up for years. Why do you GARA?

Is this about school lunches? If I did still have kids I’d prefer the school not to feed them a bunch of sugary crap. If they’re going to be poisoned it should be up to the parents to do it.

The straw law seems miguided to me. And there are plenty who take enforcement to entirely new levels.

Case in point I was in CA a few weeks ago. (Unfortunately Mikey was out of town for work.) At dinner near my hotel I saw a server get crazy on this law. The mom asked for straws. Server says they don’t have straws as they kill animals. Mom says fine and server leaves. Mom pulls out a bag of straws from her mom bag and gives them to kids. Later when server returns he wants to know where the straws came from. Mom says she brings her own for exactly this reason. Server says straws are illegal and wants to take them. Mom asks for a manager. Turns out the straws were fine and another server finished with them.
