WAS Canadian. Became a US citizen a while back. Pancreatic cancer is usually a death sentence. I wish Alex good luck in final jeopardy.

Probably safe to say that he’s got about a weeks worth of daily doubles remaining.

Seems his parting gift is significantly more points in the death pool than that of Bob Barker, whenever that guy decides to yodel off the cliff.

Some people survive it.

My mom lasted a couple of months.

Too bad about Alex. I've been watching that show since Art Fleming and record it every weeknight for later binging.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Marrying a foreigner really bothers you, doesn't it? Wolfman = unAmerican.

Wilko Johnson, former guitarist of Dr. Feelgood, was diagnosed with it in 2013 and is still alive, although he did not have the more common adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. He had a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (PNET), a less virulent and more treatable form of the disease. Believe he had a Whipple procedure to remove the head of the pancreas, the duodenum, the gallbladder and the bile duct.

Steve Jobs had that kind of cancer. He chose to try to beat it with roots and berries. Chuck D had to cull him from the herd.

Stage 4 means it's spread to other parts of the body, so I doubt that a Whipple procedure would be enough to get Alex out of the woods even if it is the type that Wilko had. It's likely there'll soon be an opening for a game show host.
