2 mil for a fukking 'cuda?
That was likely a 4-5 grand car new. I think the Cobras may have brought 6 or 7 grand.
BTW, my wife's '12 V-6 6 speed 'stang will run the quarter in about the same time as a hemi cuda. It's beat it to 60.
If I ever do come into 88 money though....I'd give a 427 cobra a good look......after I bought an E-type.

If I came into some large $$, I'd get a '66'-'67 MoPar Hemi Dodge or Plymouth. Would be fun riding around down here burning up $2.60 a gallon gas.

A mid 60 hemi dart would be fun. What a gloriously absurd can that was.

I’d go with a Gremlin or Pacer just to be contrarian.

A Shelby kit car would be cool, and at a fraction of the price. When I was in HS I favored Corvettes and Camaros. A 69 Z28 with its 302" 400 HP motor was my dream car then. I ended up with 2014 5.O L Mustang which is fairly similar.
Resto modding , or putting a modern drive train into a classic 60's car is quite popular now. The 2011-2014 Mustangs have that feel with their retro styling. The Borla mufflers installed put a smile on my face every day.

MotorTrend has an interesting 2011 comparison.
Good stuff.
New muscle cars are even more powerful/faster/quicker.

I love logging into T1B after a thrilling, fast paced day...and winding down with one of Joe in PB 's thermometer-snapping, ice-cold takes.

Only to be beat by one of your tired takes at being funny. Let me guess, your favorite song is Party like it's 1999?

Is there a comma after "dunce"? Because that can read two ways...
