T1B blocked at the IAD United Lounge
Hmm, they must really be fed up with Sholomart's recent ruthless posting. Well at least I can watch Chilean futbol while I'm here. Just no shit threads.
It apparently lets me post threads but won't let me read other threads. Hmm.

Yeah but I've been on two international trips lately with them and they've been good. Rack business class, BTW.

Definitely rack business class. But not so much on United. Where they have 2x2x2 seating on some 787s American has 1x2x1. Or on the older 777s United biz class is 2x4x2 while American has 1x2x1 in the same area.

When you are a fat greedy fuck you need biz class just to get a seat you don’t spill out of.

Biz class is all about the flat bed. It allows for 7 hours or so of sleep from Dallas or any where west to Europe. A bit less for East Coast departures. A full nights sleep on any of the flights to Asia. When the plane lands you can give time zones the finger and put in a full productive day.
Not that any of the trolls here would know about that.

Re: T1B blocked at the IAD United Lounge
I'm in Sao Paulo. My experience was that it definitely cut 5 hours off my flight as I was able to get good naps for that long. I felt fine in the AM but I definitely hit a wall around 2 pm and had to take a nap at 4. I would certainly not want to commit myself to eight hours of work coming off a long haul flight, even in business class. But I could be productive for a few hours.Left Seater wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2019 10:07 pm Biz class is all about the flat bed. I am lucky or just familiar with planes. I can sleep and sleep well when in a lie flat seat. So no problem working a full day when landing.

Does it take a while for the tranquilizers to wear off, or can you just shake it off and shower yourself with your nose?

Hey Lefty, what do you think of Embraer aircraft? Do you ever fly them?

Re: T1B blocked at the IAD United Lounge
I have never piloted one. I fly them a good bit as American has a number of them. As a pax I really enjoy the 170/175/190. 2x2 seating with a useable overhead bin.Screw_Michigan wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2019 11:14 pm Hey Lefty, what do you think of Embraer aircraft? Do you ever fly them?
Guessing you are writing about them?

Here's a mini-PET for you fuckstains. I spent the early part of the week checking out Embraer's HQ and facilities about 1 hour east of São Paulo at São José dos Campos and Gavião Peixoto. Included commerical, biz jet and military.
Here are some photos--
