That radiation is an evil beyond measure is a bunch of BS. That’s not how atoms work.

This line from the piece below is telling: the absence of humans inside the exclusion zone could be favoring many species — big mammals in particular...[which] would suggest that the pressures generated by human activities would be more negative for wildlife in the medium-term than a nuclear accident — a quite revealing vision of the human impact on the natural environment.

https://www.inverse.com/article/56235-c ... r-wildlife
The article also says this:
The accident had a major impact on the human population. Although there are not clear figures, the physical loss of human lives and physiological consequences were huge. Estimates of the number of human fatalities vary wildly.

The initial impact on the environment was also important. One of the areas more heavily affected by the radiation was the pine forest near the plant, known since then as the “Red Forest.” This area received the highest doses of radiation, the pine trees died instantly, and all the leaves turned red. Few animals survived the highest radiation levels.
I think that to draw the conclusion that "radiation is good for us" is a little...umm..simplistic.

More accurately, I would conclude that any incident that keeps human activity out of an area for an extended period of time is good for the rest of nature (which is pretty much what your quite actually said).

No they just don’t have any laws as to when they can move back. 100’s of Babushkas moved back in right after the explosion and they are doing better than their old neighbors who didn’t return.

Not only that, many of them developed super hero powers. They call themselves:

АУЗИГЗЯС

Many people don't know but Putin made special trip there while in KGB just to get in on super powers.
How you think he got like this?

See also the Gulf of Mexico. We were told it would be decades before the gulf would even start the recovery process. That was false and the Gulf is doing relatively well. Some wetlands/marsh areas are still not back to where they were, pre spill, but they are recovering. Fish and mammals are also doing better than predicted.

Mother Nature is still a bad bitch.

More crude oozes out of the bottom of the gulf every day than was spilled during that rig malfunction. Admittedly, it was a concentrated spill, but nothing the place couldn't recover from, mostly on its own, quickly.

Last week, Mass shut down its last Nuke plant. It has been making clean power for almost 50 years. Only 2 left in New England. Of course, they now have to deal with on site "waste". It is a shame we are such fukking idiots and don't do what the French, Chinks and others are doing, developing the reactors which use this waste as fuel, turning this nasty hazardous shit into something much safer. If the enviro-nazis really gave a fukk about this stuff, they'd be in favor of this technology, but their minds are made up. Nuke bad. Wind/solar good. Who cares if it generates when it feels like it.

Nobody is running MSR (Thorium) reactors on any substantial level.
But they should.
