You don't live in my state... (California), or the United States. This doesn't concern you.

You need to work on your own country... and stop your people from coming into the United States.

Get to work !

Screwy should support your take.

I also agree that teachers unions are a huge reason public education is so bad. Poor teachers are supported by their union and are almost impossible to get rid of. Overall spending on education isn’t the problem and spending more isn’t going to raise scores by itself. (There are differences from one school to another that need to be addressed though.)

Public school in the burbs works well enough, although they do have the issue of being indoctrinated with Marxist BS. This is where most of the voters are, so it isn't a concern to them. In the hood, the school system is an utter failure. Most kids have no support system at home. If 70% of the kids in a given class are in this situation, they drag the other 30% with them.

This is a sad situation. Something needs to change.

Do you libs think that pouring more money onto this academic dumpster fire will help?

This dire situation calls for educational triage. Save those that can be saved. Every student in these areas should have school options. Schools should have the option to expel students who are disruptive, just like private schools can. There would be schools that would take the problem kids. I would even be OK with public ed resources being concentrated in such schools in hopes of salvaging some of these kids.

Is it also why policing and corrections is so bad?
