We also went to Campobello Island for a day. We stopped on our way at West Quoddy Head, the Easternmost spot in the continental US. On our way back a stop at Lubec for some seafood fresh off the dock.

Went to the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Gardens in Seal Harbor. This used to be the hardest ticket to get on Mount Desert Island. But David Rockefeller took time from his Illuminati efforts to donate the gardens and the remains of the home to a preservation foundation. I didn't take pictures of the garden because I enjoyed the statuary appropriated from various East Asian countries.

Very nice. Maine is quite appealing in summer. Sand Beach must have been a chilling thrill. I may be up Orono way at the end of October for U Maine Homecoming football. Will try to add a roadie to Bar Harbor.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

We took a pass on Bar Harbor this time. We spent most of our time on Mount Desert Island in the park or on the Southwest Harbor side.

Thurston’s Lobster Pound is in that area. Great grubbage.
Had my seafood up in Lubec. But will check out Thurston's next time. Also enjoyed a stop at Mainely Meats. Solid BBQ joint on RT 3.

Nice pics. What’s the water temperature up there this time of year? I hear the Atlantic coast tends to be a lot warmer than the Pacific at equivalent latitudes due to the Gulfstream. It will reach the mid 70s here in the summer. Santa Cruz probably never gets warmer than mid 60s. We used to swim there as kids but you don’t feel it so much when you’re young.
In Dinsdale’s backyard you’d prolly die in 10 minutes without a wetsuit.
Maine doesn't get the gulfstream. Maine gets the Labrador current from the north. I dipped my toes at sand beach and that was quite enough. At this time of the year the water temperature is about 55 degrees. And yes I did see stupid people going chest deep in that mess.
