BTW Paul, who threw more TDs last year? Your boy, or Jake? Who threw more INTs? Who had the higher rating? Who had more wins? And for bonus points, who was playing in the AFC Championship game?

I'll give you a hint: The answer to one of those is "Green."
All that means to me is that Fake's above average stats last year proves that the sun shines on a dog's ASS once in awhile. He WILL NOT replicate those stats in '06.

... Yeah and I'm here to tell ya he won't duplicate them either!

Good to see you're still running the "throw enough shit against the wall..." gambit.

Wishful thinking might tell you that last season was just an aberration, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Plummer just might be helped by the addition of Javon Walker and Tony Scheffler.

This was a HUGE signing...3 years ago.

Right now you lost Tony Richardson and Willie Roaf, which were 2 of the biggest reasons you could put any back in the KC offense and run the ball. You have the league's weakest WR corps and Gonzalez is aging and not the best TE in the game anymore. And who the fuck did you draft again? Nobody worthy of mention.

You've actually gotten WORSE this year. You'll be thankful the Raiders are in your division when the season ends, to save you from the cellar.
As much as I hate to admit it, you're on to something with the WR take, which goes hand in hand with the OL, unless of course KC is playing Denver and Eddie Kennison is on the field, healthy. That aside however, even if Roaf is gone, the key will be injuries, or a lack of them. KC was decimated by them last year, and still almost made the playoffs.

I like the Chiefs' schedule just fine. If you want to be the best, you've gotta play the best. I'd much rather have a "tough" schedule in the regular season than get punked in the first round after playing a "weak" schedule. Yeah, as if it has mattered in the last 15 years. :meds: Besides, who in the NFL doesn't have a "tough" schedule, at least on paper? You can't tell from one year to the next who the next Rams or Ravens or Steelers might be.

You don't think he'll run the boot against KC this year? I'll bet he does. Say $100?

Wishful thinking on BoltFan's part to be sure....but I understand. I'd be wishing things like that too if my team had a brand new untested starting QB.

...question Paul...do you want to see LJ tote the pig 25 times a game in an attempt to break ED's record or do you hope Edwards has enough sense and regard for this guy not to burn him out in three years?

If it means we get to the Super Bowl and win it I don't give a shit if LJ gets the ball 50 times a game, if that's what it takes. I could care less about three years down the road if that was the scenario.
Paul,

Are you aware that the NFL's leading rusher has very rarely been on a Super Bowl winning team? I can name 2 back in the past 2 years that have won Super Bowl rings and an NFL rushing title in the same year. Terrel Davis and Emmitt Smith. That's it.

Smith and David are exceptions to the rule. Big time exceptions who had Hall of Fame QBs manning the offense, great playmakers catching the ball, and stout defenders to boot. None of which can be said for Kansas City.

How many retarded "mmmkay's" are we going to have this year Paul? You sound like such a queer. LJ will not be winning the rushing title this year and the Queefs will not win the Superbowl.

Next subject.

How about we just go ahead and play this season out before making such assumptions, mmmkay?
Looking forward to it Paul.
