When evaluating a playoff matchup the first place to focus attention, IMO, is on the coach-qb combo.
Belichick - Brady v. Shottenheimer - Rivers
This is not a good start for SD.
Rivers had himself a very nice reg. season, yes, however post-season is a different animal.
We know all about T. Brady.
Double B v. Marty ..... ?

If the rest of the SD boys double-up on their normal 'roid intake they might be able to make up this difference.
Then again, it's tough to block, tackle, catch, punt, pass, & kick when you've got a 2nd head growing out of yer neck.

Everyone outside of SD knew the Chargers were going down, courtesy of Marty LOOOOOOSER.
But having their superstar melt down as a result...
What a bonus.
Oh well, it's not like the rest of thwe country hates the Chargers any less because of it...that department was maxed-out to begin with.
