Actually anyone with a functioning brain can simply read any of the various manifestos released by bin Laden which clearly place our infidel nature at the top of the list.
I don’t normally question your knowledge of history, but it seems to me from what I’ve read that yes, bin Laden considers us infidels, but what really set him off was the fact that Saudi Arabia allowed US forces into their country during the first Gulf War. He couldn’t stand to see infidels in the holiest of Muslim countries.

You are correct as well. Their general dislike for our culture and lack of morals however, is well documented. And their appeal to common everyday Haji, is that Haji wouldn't have to worry about their daughters putting on lipstick and wanting to suck Haji Jr's dicks and stuff if it wasn't for American T.V. and American culture being foisted upon them all the time.

Holy crap, you're trolling.
While he tosses in some "infidel" rhetoric to work up the stupid masses, bin Laden has made it VERY clear that the reason for his "holy war" is because Westerners are occupying the Holy Land...
and you fucking know it.
Funny you mention that, since my good buddy who...oh, I dunno...used to teach counterterrorism courses in the military was talking about this very subject just the other day.
Starnge that ol' Osama didn't have a problem with the "infidels" when they were supporting him in his last war, eh?
But let's just examine your
trolling statements, shall we?
Bin Laden, 2004 wrote:You, the American people, I talk to you today about the best way to avoid another catastrophe and about war, its reasons and its consequences.
And in that regard, I say to you that security is an important pillar of human life, and that free people do not compromise their security.
Contrary to what [President George W.] Bush says and claims -- that we hate freedom --let him tell us then, "Why did we not attack Sweden?" It is known that those who hate freedom don't have souls with integrity, like the souls of those 19. May the mercy of God be upon them.
We fought with you because we are free, and we don't put up with transgressions. We want to reclaim our nation. As you spoil our security, we will do so to you.
I wonder about you. Although we are ushering the fourth year after 9/11, Bush is still exercising confusion and misleading you and not telling you the true reason. Therefore, the motivations are still there for what happened to be repeated.
And I will talk to you about the reason for those events, and I will be honest with you about the moments the decision was made so that you can ponder. And I tell you, God only knows, that we never had the intentions to destroy the towers.
But after the injustice was so much and we saw transgressions and the coalition between Americans and the Israelis against our people in Palestine and Lebanon, it occurred to my mind that we deal with the towers. And these special events that directly and personally affected me go back to 1982 and what happened when America gave permission for Israel to invade Lebanon. And assistance was given by the American sixth fleet.
During those crucial moments, my mind was thinking about many things that are hard to describe. But they produced a feeling to refuse and reject injustice, and I had determination to punish the transgressors.
And as I was looking at those towers that were destroyed in Lebanon, it occurred to me that we have to punish the transgressor with the same -- and that we had to destroy the towers in America so that they taste what we tasted, and they stop killing our women and children.
We found no difficulties in dealing with the Bush administration, because of the similarities of that administration and the regimes in our countries, half of which are run by the military and half of which are run by monarchs. And our experience is vast with them.
And those two kinds are full of arrogance and taking money illegally.
The resemblance started when [former President George H.W.] Bush, the father, visited the area, when some of our own were impressed by America and were hoping that the visits would affect and influence our countries.
Then, what happened was that he was impressed by the monarchies and the military regimes, and he was jealous of them staying in power for tens of years, embezzling the public money without any accountability. And he moved the tyranny and suppression of freedom to his own country, and they called it the Patriot Act, under the disguise of fighting terrorism. And Bush, the father, found it good to install his children as governors and leaders.
We agreed with the leader of the group, Mohammed Atta, to perform all attacks within 20 minutes before [President George W.] Bush and his administration were aware of what was going on. And we never knew that the commander-in-chief of the American armed forces would leave 50,000 of his people in the two towers to face those events by themselves when they were in the most urgent need of their leader.
He was more interested in listening to the child's story about the goat rather than worry about what was happening to the towers. So, we had three times the time necessary to accomplish the events.
Your security is not in the hands of [Democratic presidential nominee John] Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda. Your security is in your own hands. Any nation that does not attack us will not be attacked.
Nope, nothing about "killing all of the infidels." Just bemoaning foreign influence in the region.
Bin Laden, from his declaration of war on America wrote:So to abuse the grandsons of the companions, may Allah be pleased with them, by calling them cowards and challenging them by refusing to leave the land of the two Holy Places shows the insanity and the imbalance you are suffering from. Its appropriate 'remedy ,however, is in the hands of the youths of Islam, as the poet said:
I am willing to sacrifice self and wealth for knights who never disappointed me Knights who are never fed up or deterred by death, even if the mill of war turns In the heat of battle they do not care, and cure the insanity of the enemy by their 'insane' courage.
Terrorising you, while you are carrying arms on our land, is a legitimate and morally demanded duty. It is a legitimate right well known to all humans and other creatures. Your example and our example is like a snake which entered into a house of a man and got killed by him. The coward is the one who lets you walk, while carrying arms, freely on his land and provides you with peace and security.
But let's not let
facts get in the way of propaganda for a miserable foreign policy, as long as the special interests profit, shall we?

It was the US support of Israel against Lebanon that originally set him off, and it was the invasion of Iraq that got him started down the road to Looney Land.

Wow...the stupidity is rampant.
Yup, that oil is pretty crucial to modern life, alright.
And without American/British micromanagement of it and the region, I'm sure those silly sandnogs would just leave it sitting in the ground.
Yup, that's exactly what would happen.
Heaven forbid that a free-market system would have made it so OPEC never would have happened...and that would sure suck.
And before the US/British takeover of the Middle East, there was no oil flowing from there, it wasn't a rapidly expanding market, and all of the oil imported into the USA was like $400,000 a barrel.
Yeah, that's how it was working.
Nope, the situation today had nothing to do with certain people with a very high degree of government influence unilaterally deciding that the time was right to slice off a bigger slice of the pie...nope, that had nothing to do with it.
Wow. Just wow.
What if the Russians decided that American Maze was crucial to "their way of life," and invaded, and posted troops throughout the Midwest to "protect their interests"? Now, obviously, this hypothetical is dependent on many things, not the least of which being the availablility of Patrick Swayze to coem save us, but just in hypothetical terms...would you lay back and enjoy that, and teach your kids that Russian occupation was a good thing?
Do you realize how brainwashed and stupid you sound when you trumpet "they just hate freedom"? Uhm...I'm pretty sure they're fighting for "freedom"...from foreign occupiers. Just like any other culture has over human history. Yet some of you tards are suddenly shocked that hundreds of examples over thousands of years went ahead and repeated itself...

In the 8th century, the streets of the newly constructed Baghdad were paved with tar, derived from easily accessible petroleum from natural fields in the region. In the 9th century, oil fields were exploited in the area around modern Baku, Azerbaijan, to produce naphtha. These fields were described by the geographer Masudi in the 10th century, and by Marco Polo in the 13th century, who described the output of those wells as hundreds of shiploads.

the rightful government of Saudi Arabia
Trolling indeed.
Very few folks in the Middle East regard the tribe that leads Saudi Arabia as "rightful". That's one of the underpinnings of this whole situation.
Basically, they are universally despised, and bin-Laden has worked that sentiment like a 2 dollar whore. Muslims might hate us for favoring Israel, for occupying the Holy Land, for living our "amoral" lifestyles...but you can bet the thing that tops the list, what pesters them every fucking day, is our support for and work with the Saudis.

Have you taken the Hitler Falwell quiz yet?
1. My feelings as a Christian point me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter.
2. This 'turn the other cheek' business is all well and good but it's not what Jesus fought and died for.
3. Secular schools can never be tolerated because such a school has no religious instruction and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith.... We need believing people.
4. I hope I live to see the day when, as in the early days of our country, we won't have any public schools. The churches will have taken them over again and Christians will be running them. What a happy day that will be!
5. Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism has ever invented for its own destruction.
6. We were convinced that the people needs and requires this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out.
7. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit … We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press. . .we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess.
8. This the national government will regard its first and foremost duty to restore the unity of spirit and purpose of our people. It will preserve and defend the foundations upon which the power of our nation rests. It will take Christianity, as the basis of our collective morality, and the family as the nucleus of our people and state, under its firm protection....May God Almighty take our work into his grace, give true form to our will, bless our insight, and endow us with the trust of our people.
9. Remain strong in your faith, as you were in former years. In this faith, in its close-knit unity our people to-day goes straight forward on its way and no power on earth will avail to stop it.
10. We're fighting against humanism, we're fighting against liberalism ... we are fighting against all the systems of Satan that are destroying our nation today .

Hitchens, of course, despite his Manchurian Columnist advocacy for invading Iraq(!), is accurate and refreshingly honest in eviscerating the vile Falwell. What a horrendous reflection on our society that such punks like Hanratty and Ralph Reed should be somehow representing a significant segment of our population. Notice in particular that Hitchens focuses on the toxic relationship between Israel and the moronic Christers--and that NONE of his points or observations were refuted or even challenged.
