NFL "Dynasties" don't include any teams that MISS THE PLAYOFFS during their alleged "reign", dipshit.

The sooner you figure that out, the better off this board will be.

Why the hell are the Detroit Lions popping up in some Top 5 lists? Anyone remember the drubbing they took at the hands of the Eagles 2 weeks back- the same Eagles that gave up 12 sacks in a loss to a shitty Giants team?

About 1/3 of these 134 posts have occurred after “SpyGate Scandal”… seems to me like this obvious troll should be lauded for his efforts. Way too many idiots are eating up his chum. Furthermore… no one actually from the area would say their location is “the north shore of Boston.”

You’d say “Bah-stun … Nath Shore-Ah” to anyone outside of New England and just “Nath Shore-Ah” if you’re talking to locals.

Anyone with the Lions in the top 5 is insane...they didn't beat the Bears at full strength on Sunday. They were one freak quarter away from being 2-2. They are the worst 3-1 team in the NFL. If they can go on the road and beat Washington for the first time in forever, that might be the first win this season that is meaningful in my eyes. For now, they're a minus in the point differential for the season, they're the second worst running team in the league and 29th in total defense...is that a top 5 team?

the Cowboys get Cleveland's 1st rd. draft pick next year.

Any of those who had the Lions in the top 5 now understand what I'm talking about now? 34-3 against a so-so offensive team...played without Randel El the entire second half and didn't have Moss for the game and Campbell still carved 'em up. 106 yards passing by Kitna and they were only able to get 149 net yards against pretty much a base defense all game long. The Skins didn't do anything exotic but they dominated this game from the start. They were the worst 3-1 team in the NFL and I'd now call them the worst 3-2 team.

War Wagon wrote:This is too easy. After 3 weeks we have 5 undefeated and 5 winless teams. Just go by the point differentials. Yeah, I know that's a subjective criteria, but it's as good as any. Save the SoS arguements, because it really doesn't hold water in the NFL. You play the hand you're dealt. It will get tougher to grade these teams once the weeks start to click off.

1. Patriots +79 - that's totally insane
2. Steelers +71 - so's that
3. Cowboys +41
4. Colts +39
5. Packers +32
I just had to respond to this and one of the points someone else agreed with. Playing the hand you're dealt doesn't mean you don't take into consideration who someone has played. Stating SoS doesn't hold water in the NFL makes absolutely no sense what so ever. SoS holds water in any sport in which you are trying to determine rankings, how else do you judge? Oh based on point differential. LOL that is ridiculous. So, NWE beating on stiffs in a division that has 7 wins holds more water than IND beating on a near complete schedule of opponents that at this time have playoff hopes?

Wow, I hope you're not someone that actually has an opinion this board values, lol. That would be pretty sorry but it appears the board is still trying to grasp the concept of how SoS doesn't matter in terms of who has a better chance to make the playoffs within each division. If you guys are still trying to figure that out and don't understand the concept of ranking teams based on the quality of competitionthen maybe you should just let your girlfriends and wives posts because not many people will be able to tell the difference.

Green Bay has an "impressive win over MIN on the road"?
What in the world is impressive about beating Kelly Holcomb and the offensively challenged Vikings who have only managed to take down their former best divisional friend, Joey Harrington?

The defending champs are still #1.
There is no reason what so ever to think that NWE is, other than being overly impressed with the fantasy stats of Brady to Moss. Heck IND even just smoked a division leading TB without Addai and Harrison.

The best thing NWE has going for them is they are 2-0 in a division that has 7 wins. IND obviously has a tougher challenge given that their division has 14 wins. I'm sure they will have continued success throughout the season and when it's all done, are you still gonig to be in here saying SoS doesn't hold water? If you are, you really should consider judging gymnastics or ice skating.

1) Colts
2) Patriots
3) Steelers

Who gets to win another ring to add to their collection this year?
