But screw that stuff.

And I have been laid within the last week "not a fatty" so don't feed me that nerd shit.
I have never in my life put any money to any game online, I know there are WOW people out there that have spent a lot more than I spent on this game and I don't call them out, that is their choice.
I don't have any entertainment consoles, Xbox, playstation etcetera, someone broke into my apartment and stole them, along with a 27 inch flat screen LCD television. I won't get any of that back but I am still paying the bills on them. So what I am saying, what is the differece between spending like $500 plus on a console and then dropping $ 60 per game on 2 or 3 video games per year?
And I am going to be chastised?
Get the fuck off of it. Would you like me to put up an estimate of my wealth, take pictures of my CD, DVD, musical instrument and book collections? Hell I guess I can send a copy of the title of my car.
Adelpiero, infernus in incendere.
Frisco,
I looked into it beforehand, trust me I dropped more money in sorry ass strip bars in one night when I was younger than I did on this game.
I have been a little over zealous, I admit, but I am going to retire the poorer players when their contracts are up, you get 70% of your flex points back.
To me this has been a fun experiment, not only with the creating of players but how the human interface from all parts of the world interacts with each other from the top down.
I am a man of my word though. I told Orcinus I spent more than I should have, it was late and I was drunk as fuck, bored if you will.
To answer your question about how I would feel if they wipe the slate clean, I don't think it will happen, but if it does happen, well fuck me and call me a fool.
To end.
I think this whole disscusion is irrelevant. Anyone could have laid a grand down on the game, but if they only created a couple of players due to the interface, no one would know the difference from $20 to $10,000.
I am not into your business, so please stay out of mine.

Yeah, that was NOT fun. Hey, at least we can all set our training intensity to Intense for a few days.
I can't get to the site from work, but maybe one of you can open a new thread there and advise folks to set their training intensity to hard now until the new season starts in about 5 days.

Keep in mind that you're going to need $10,000 at level eight in order to purchase all the equipment upgrades. If you want to purchase everything as soon as you level up, some financial planning needs to be in order ... especially if you're going to boost at the beginning of season two in order to get there.
Training on intense is great; however, the gains from normal to intense are minimal compared to the hefty jump in dollars.
Plan wisely.

any of you guys sitting in 3rd spot on depth chart are kinda silly to not ask to be traded. Your not going to play much.
the upper guys will continue to gain levels and attribs.
especially if your investing Money into your player, make that PM to leave.

For someone that needs assistance in order to get traded to a certain team of his choosing, it's a bit disappointing to see you posting in this manner.
We have nearly a dozen inquiries from teams willing to meet our initial asking price for your player, and it would certainly be in the team's best interest to start a bidding war that would easily double the amount of cash we're requesting.
We're fine trading you to a team of your choosing for less money, because it creates a win-win scenario for all parties involved ... but that trade hasn't been made yet.
Before you start urging people to leave the team, consider our perspective here.

i asked to be released. Releasing my guy would of been doing a Solid. He wasn't released.
So, i'm done with this subject, and i'm not even going to argue about a silly online simulation game.
What i did, was let others who are buried on depth chart know, they have an option. Not once did i tell them, hey," go to Bob's t-bones and beans team". But it's a serious dick move if you wouldn't let them know they could be dealt or released to get PT. And then ask them to juice up at their expense.

I noticed that quick edit of yours earlier today. Between that and the garbage you've been spewing to folks about what's supposed to be a fun team of message-board folks, I absolutely no longer see any reason to try and find a win-win scenario here, as it's obvious you're not interested in one.
Simply put, I'm done with this, too ... you now have a brand new team.
You were advertised tonight as a hostile/unhappy player to the half-dozen teams that expressed an earlier interest. The situation here was explained in detail, and a team I had contact you over the weekend jumped at the chance to try and make you their #2.
Despite all that's transpired, I hope you enjoy your new team and have some fun with the game, rather than continuing to bicker with words on your monitor.
Whatever your choice, they're no longer going to be my words.
Auf Weidersehen.

for the record, i was fucking with Felix.
Felix can"t do shit about the depth chart or player movement, hell, he just created a player within the past 2 weeks, but i messed with him, it's always easy to mess with him, and his player was the one who was pushed above mine, so he became and easy target. It's not like i haven't messed with Felix before.
so lets not try to act like i was messaging people on the team, that is a lie. Only felix was messaged, and that was on here. And i pray that Felix really didn't believe i was being serious. If i was being serious, i would of messaged the Fat Dj from STL, i know who's player he is, and an easy PM could/would of been shot.
Good luck with the team, seriously, some good players(mo's guy, etc) on the team.

the new players and older team owners are fools. both want way too much $$$$ this is one of ways to build a team!
one guy wanted 175K for a Mediocre level 4 QB. these newbie owners are going to be broke and lose their team within the first 2 months of season 1

I shot you back a PM man. It is all cool.
I agree with you on the newbie owners. It would be nice if someone runs a team bankrupt if someone else wants to take over ownership of that team, that you could pick up the crappy team for less flex points or whatever. I am not sure how they adjust all that stuff anyway.
Season two is nigh.

here is my team, i had to create many players, to actually put a decent team out there.
newbie owners and players are idiots. one guy wants 200K for a level 4 QB. Newbie owners are broke and still need to fill 3/4 of their team.
and Level 1 players getting 40-50K contracts. stupid
I only paid 20K for Daniel, he was sitting in 2nd on depth chart with a leveling up QB behind him in 3rd. Not a bad price, considering that people are paying 200+k for the same level players.

it's virtually impossible to sign players
even level 1 players feel they are worth 40K a season.
stupid owners shitting on the game. hopefully many of them lose their teams and these jerkoffs are stuck on those CPU teams.
just offered a Level 2 LB 5K sign on 26K a year and will reup after seasons over if he levels up and is active. he declines, someone gives him 49K.

for the people who think intense training is how to move up levels.
INTENSE TRAINING (from another team)
Just some off season reminders:
Train at RELAXED. Somebody posted a profile from one of the top players on one of the developers teams. We examined it, ran numbers through a spreadsheet and came up with this conclusion:
Training on INTENSE is a huge waste.
The difference between training a player for one season on RELAXED compared to INTENSE is only a 2.4 total increase in points at the end of the season. However, the premium you pay is ridiculous....2000%! By training on RELAXED, you will SAVE about $54,000...which YOU WILL NEED once you hit Level 8.
At Level 8, and every 8 levels after that, 16, 24, etc., you get a huge bonus in equipment upgrades...but it's expensive as sh*t. You can buy an Equip for $500 and add one skill point bonus to it. At Level 8, you can UPGRADE that EQ another point in the skill of your choice...but it now costs $2500. I'm sure it will be even more expensive at 16...so SAVE YOUR CASH. It is much, much more advantageous to upgrade skill points by EQ upgrades than trying to squeeze an extra 2 points into a skill for the entire season by training intense for it. Also, you guys will get the +15 energy every day, and should be 100% for each game. Some may be tempted to go up to NORMAL training if their energy bar is at 100%, but it's still expensive. SAVE YOUR CASH.
that is a ton of dough for that limited of attrib gain!
my players who are lower levels are getting full PT, getting relaxed training, and nearly gaining 2 level every 2 games. One guy got 700exp in one game.
with the 16 game schedule, you will be in 70's in stamina if on intense.

this is what a Rb did against my team the first week:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=25463
the," wear him out by having him running for too many yards", game plan didn't work! having a new team sucks, everyone i know who got into GLB already has teams or have players and are on teams and their owners want 150-200K for each player!
i need 2 Olb's like a mother fucka!

Not sure what you are saying. I got 167 yards and my energy was only at 70 after the game. 2 day rest at relaxed training and I will be at 100 by next game.
I'm lvl 10 with pretty high stamina numbers, about 35. I had only 29 rushes to get those 167.
I'm not the coach, just a playa. And I'm playing...well.

got myself a nice little Rb here. i farked up, boosted him too soon, my guys i left at level 1 or 2, are gaining exp out the ass from PT. would of saved me a ton of flex points, but wanted a competitive team.
i need an OLB and FS in the worst way. cannot find one through free agency, newbies want too much $.

the punting and 2minute offenses are absolutely horrible in the Sim.
computer going for it, while team is on their 23 yard line and its 4th and 15 in OT. Several teams have lost because of it.
punters with 60+ in punting, barely getting 23 yarders.
some teams have been getting pole axed.
