Yes I do "2.37". California and Arguello.

My workshop is just across the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin.

I can actually see R-Jack's place across the bay from my window.

Do you really live in "Pittsburgh" ?

If so, I'm sorry. We live where we can afford to live, I guess.

Anybody can post random pictures of fancy houses they'll never afford. Go ahead, mstool, pony up. Let's see your domicile.

I dunno. Looks to me that house has a retractable roof. A little too pricey for mfool.

No Way.

Did the windchime fairy just run income smack on the very same day she ran spelling smack?

Priceless.

Are you trying to dispute that I live here in Paradise ?

Now that's funny!

Look, some people are just genetically predisposed to live their lives in Meatchicken, and Pennsytuckey, and some people are just smarter and more successful. Being that you're shaped like a pear.... you have some upward struggles that most of us don't have to contend with. Your effort is noble.

Living in Detroit and Pittsburgh just tells people that you've given up on the finer things in life.

We actually appreciate you guys..... since you bring much humor to us. Living in and shoveling snow for 6 months a year when you don't live on a mountain.... makes us out west laugh, and we do thank you for your contributions.

If you paid attention, dipwad, you wouldn't have to spend 99% of your life asking questions.

Squatting from studio apartment to studio apartment in "the city" doesn't mean you're well off, mdrool. I can pack my things and plop myself in the center of Bel Air, but that doesn't mean I've "achieved success."

Actually, it's a 2 bedroom in the "Richmond District" which is one of the nicer neighborhoods in The City.

A studio apt. in The City would put you back about $2,000 to $3,000 a month, which is probably 3 times what you pay to live in your barn in Michigan.

That's true.... it's southern California.

It will shock and disappoint my wife to learn that we're actually appalachian hill folk.

She'll take this news hard...but not as hard as the realization that we could have bumped around the country peddling windchimes and posting other peoples' pictures, were we not gap-toothed untouchables with wild garlic in our hair.

The incongruity of a counter-cultural wind-chime shucking Renfaire stalwart running economic status smack is looming...but maybe hasn't quite crested yet.

It's already been discussed in this thread.... but, you are "2.37".

Not likely, "2.37".

But, being that she married you..... she may have the same intellectual integrity.

psu, mgo,

You dudes ought to put together a warshboard/jug band. But, just to be edgy and hip, you could call it alternative jug.

I never get tired of tards that run smack about how much they get to pay for housing. You truely are the worst posers there are. So, lemme see if I got this right. You have a 2 bedroom pad in an area where studios bring 2-3 K a month? So, I guess you are paying 3-4K? The fukkin' margine on chimes must be better than I thought. :meds:

Here on the other coast, we get to pay alot as well. And you know what, it fukking sucks arse. Yeah, you get the quaint new england village ambiance bullshit, but, so fukking what. As soon as my kids are growed and the wife's maw is gone, we are the fukk out of here. Plenty of places in the west/south where the cost of living and tax burden are reasonable. Maybe I'll move to the 'burgh and take up the warshtub bass.

m2ool's housing situation was debated in that thread.

Yes, the thread in which m200l posted pics showing the centerpiece of his living room to be a sewage drain.

Good times.

You tell us you're living in a 2 bedroom in one of the nicer parts of San Francisco - and then you tell us what a studio costs? What's that about?

If there are barns available for 1k/mo in Michigan, then wouldn't a seasoned alternative entrepreneur such as yourself (ha ha) recognize that as a great opportunity for some organic farming, or tie-dying some sheets for the TWIS love nest, or gun stockpiling for shipment to Israel?

Let me just go on record here - if you're paying rent in the Richmond District on a 2 bedroom apartment, then there must be more dumbfucks holding clanking sticks chimes then I ever thought possible.
