How the fuck does a sad sack hack like Avi get to be a moderator for this palsied forum? It's like giving a homeless street bum the keys to your house.

As for Ziodog's Glenn Beckian schpiel, why even read it? Seriously, it's so demented and fake, it's a joke. Start with the basic fact that Chimp 'n Cheney were not duly elected at all. Neither Ziodog or Avi or any of the seething hacks can actually defend a position, let alone stark facts to the contrary of their inane robust gibberish.

You remain a pathetic, lying bitch.
yeah, I read the same thing....where in that statement does it say "US under Obama Could Slide Into a Military Dictatorship" the only thing I read is that "we'll have a military dictatorship fairly soon" (fairly soon being a pretty ambiguous term), yet Drudge reports that Vidal says it will happen under Obama......if you can't see the blatant dishonesty in Drudge's headline, well you've got your head stuck up your ass

And you never read the actual article before lying about what he was saying.

I'm shocked.

Not really.

If it was as innocuous as you say, why did they opt to remove the article?

Obviously it's yet another Zionist conspiracy. You might as well face it. You'll never win. The Jews are just plain smarter than you.
Really? Well tell us how the heroin dealing granny and the organ peddling rabbis are so smart. And enlighten us as to the intelligence of establishing a garrish illegal nuke state dedicated to a sealed off apartheid playground in the middle of the Arab world. Sure, real smart. Madoff and Greenspan and Friedman...real smart?

Who's smart, Avi? Your namesake here, Avigdor Lieberman--currently indicted? Or Olmert, indicted? Anyone else that's smart?

How does a no-game puss bag like you even look in the mirror? I mean being such a patheic disgrace and all. Just wonderin'...

Beats me. I neither endorse or condemn articles I've yet to read. All I said was that you...
A) never read it
B) took some idiot website's out of context excerpt at face value and
C) lied about what the author was saying in the portion you posted.

BTW...

Exactly how does "Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. " constitute advocating a military coup?

Just curious.

Ziodag, why don't you take your fist out of your ass and actually address the basic position advanced by Vidal? Or...is that way too tough for a bold type guy like yourself?

Vidal is a moronic nutjob.

And to answer your previous question...

Pretty much any kike who ever lived is/was considerably smarter than you.

Weak shit, Ziodog--as usual. I'll bet you've never read a Vidal novel or essay. No, you are the fake--regurgitating the Glenn Beck drivel in bold type without ever actually dealing honestly with a topic or issue. Vidal or me or Chomsky or anyone here who cares can and will--and has--regularly stacked and packed your tedious carping like a container of government head cheese.

Great, Avi, you're agreeing with Vidal. Well, that's smart. Okay, now follow Vidal's argument as to the formation and development of the National Security state and it's vile minions. Start with Prescott Bush :D

C'mon smart guy, wadda ya got?

Yes, it is. And any intellectually honest individual would concede that "sometime in the next three years" can be construed as "fairly soon." Especially considering the overall context of the interview in which Vidal regrets supporting Obama, thinks that he doesn't have any understanding of the military situation in Afghanistan, is fucking up on health care, is inexperienced in general, has no real vision for the future and rates his overall job performance as "dreadful."

But go ahead, Feelsdix. Tell us what Vidal really meant when he said "fairly soon." Lay it out for us, pussy.
I'm somewhat perplexed here due in large part by the conflicting messages being sent by the torch and pitchfork crowd.....on the one hand, you've got nutjobs like the Newsmax honk, Beck and Hannity seeming to be rooting for a military overthrow of the legally elected government, and on the other hand, you've got Gore Vidal apparently saying there's going to be a military coup "sometime in the next three years".....so the question is-who's going to be leading this military coup, is it going to be Obama and his "minions" or is it going to be the "right" people this Newsmax idiot is referring to.....

the villagers are so confusing at times....

The actual John Perry article (pdf)

John L. Perry Biography

John L. Perry, an award-winning newspaper editor and writer, who served on White House staffs of two presidents, contributes a regular column to NewsMax.com.

Newspapers under his direction were consistent winners of awards for journalistic excellence. The Associated Press Managing Editors Association named him one of the 12 best newsroom managers among the AP's member newspapers.

Perry has received numerous awards for column and editorial writing and for public-service and spot-news reporting.

He has worked as an editor or reporter for several daily newspapers, including the Tampa Tribune, the St. Petersburg Times, the Buffalo Evening News and the Clearwater Sun.

With a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, he was one of the first American journalists allowed into the Soviet Union after the death of Joseph Stalin.

Perry also has had a distinguished career in public policy. He served President Lyndon B. Johnson as deputy under secretary of commerce and was a White House speech writer and race-relations trouble-shooter for President Johnson.

In the Jimmy Carter administration, he was executive assistant to the under secretary of Housing and Urban Development and was interim director of public information for the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Perry served as press aide to Gov. LeRoy Collins of Florida and executive assistant to the speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.

A specialist in corporate communications, strategic planning and crisis management, he was public-affairs counselor to several international and national businesses.

Perry was also assistant to the president of the National Association of Broadcasters, a member of the top-management team and director of public relations for the 1982 World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tenn., and an academic fellow at the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Unsurprisingly considering the article, no record of military service.

The actual John Perry article (pdf)
so where's the "out of context" part...
"There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the
“Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic."
so in the first sentence he indicates that there is a remote (although apparently the idea is gaining steam from somewhere) possibility of a military coup to resolve "the Obama problem"...what the "Obama problem" is, is anybody's guess....but then recognizing how laughably stupid the idea is, he dutifully warns "don't dismiss it"....

so what would you call that? and again, if it was as big a puff piece as you indicate it was, why did they decide to pull it

look, the guy writes for fucking NEWSMAX...you know, that hard hitting on-line blog that was touting the forged Obama birth certificate as the real deal....the same guys that worship and adore Orly Taitz for fucks sake...

that tells you pretty much all you need to know

C'mon Marty, we're American. We'll NEVER shut up until .....

And even then, depending upon how we died, there might be hundreds of "causes" created and laws passed so that our "death" wasn't "in vain".
