When a 16 y/o knocks on the wrong door the homeowner starts blasting away, giving the boy a head injury that will probably take over a decade to overcome.

Well the chearleader shootings were a bit different. After she had mistakingly opened his car door and realized it was the wrong vehicle, she apologized, closed the door and returned to her car--and she and her friends were inside, doors closed, when the perp, Mr. Rodriquez, approached and opened fire into her car.

The jogger in KC was trying to open the door according to the shooter. And of course the jogger resembled ALL home invasion suspects.

The gal in NY whose boyfriend turned into the wrong driveway was egregiously opened up upon with a shotgun.

Obviously each case demonstrates their differences rather than any clear similarities.
