May not happen before sentencing, but SCOTUS will overturn, 6-3, probably before the case is heard by any lower appeals courts. They'll cite the upcoming election as reason for bypassing the lower courts, the $35 donation made by the judge as cause for why he should've recused himself, and possibly jury instructions as reasons for overturning. This doesn't make PenisEater any less of a pinhead; he'll always be one. But Dems must be realistic before doing any celebrating.
Best thing that could happen for Dems is for Biden to pardon him. Outcome will be the same - no punishment for the conviction - but it will show Biden to be the bigger man. He likely won't do it, but should.
Only reason I post this is cuz I'm always wrong.
You almost got it.
It won't be 6-3.
It will be 9-0. Unanimous.
And this is due to the fact that the constitution was violated.
Do your research.
All nine justices DON'T have any tolerance for those kinds of egregious violations.
Did you see the Supreme Court TODAY, unanimously strike down NY in their case against the NRA?
9-0.

The NRA Isn't loved by the 3 dems on the Supreme Court.
So a 9-0 unanimous decision against New York today, foreshadows what's coming.

Ok.
First,
The trump verdict today will be overturned.
And second,
On November 5th, #45. Becomes #47.
Is that CRYSTAL CLEAR for you?

That 2 justices who we know accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts from donors w/business before the court & a third who has had debts paid off by unknown individuals would vote to overturn this conviction because the trial judge accepted a $35 gift is the very essence of what a corrupt Supreme Court is.

Everything you just said is BS.
The chief justice John Roberts, who gave the country obamacare, has already weighed in on these matters. And all the justices have been cleared of any wrongdoing.

In talking to multiple small business owners this week, I’m finding that several intend to close their businesses if Biden is re-elected.
Don’t count on it. If they do they’re just being stupid.
Are they planning to leave the country, too? Seems like we’ve heard that one before.
Or maybe they’ll set themselves on fire in front of the White House. That would be something worth watching.
Two doctors I know well intend to retire if Biden wins. I don’t expect them to self-immolate. Yeah, I don’t bfeel sorry for their “struggles” either, but their decision is based on the ineptitude that is affecting us all.

What specific complaints (besides ineptitude) do they have and how do they imagine it would be different under Trump?

I’m really wondering because, personally, I feel a lot better off than I was four years ago. And doctors have a much different set of concerns than your average worker. They probably have pretty extensive retirement savings and, with the markets all being at all time highs, maybe they’re motivated to retire and cash in some of their holdings before Trump crashes the markets?

Today, trump was convicted of 34 felonies. On appeal, it may be possible that some or all convictions get overturned.
So to understand your bet offer, what happens if for example 33 convictions get overturned but 1 conviction stands. Who would win the bet in that scenario?
Also, what happens if the Gov of NY pardons him? Who wins?
Additionally, are you proposing two bets, one on the outcome of the convictions and another one on the election?

You are double wrong. No chance in hell that SCOTUS would take any action on this case before the NY state court system has a chance to review it, and Biden has no power to pardon convictions under state law. Only the batshit crazy Guv’nor of NY has that power. Trump is going to get shit-hammered on 7/11 (probably no jail time, but bigly probation terms).

Check your facts again, 88.
The prosecution violated legal precedent.
After careful checking, the Supreme Court does have the legal standing to reach down and take this appeal ASAP.
AND from the looks of things THEIR ruling.will be unanimous. 9-0.
That's how egregious this judge and prosecution was.
How a brilliant legal mind like you is unaware of this, is mind boggling to me.

He was convicted once, of 34 felony counts.
If any remain, I lose (and they are all basically the same - I cannot believe there could be a split in this case).
He won't be offered a pardon by Jochul (it would be political suicide for her), and even if he was, he wouldn't accept it. She cannot do it unilaterally. But if that occurs, we will call it a draw.
Statistically speaking, you have an 80% chance of winning. Only 1 in 5 criminal convictions is overturned on appeal in New York.
