No M2, stick with your original script, it’s a much better hand to play for the sake of saving democracy.
Whitmer and Newsome are the answer. They are the two most “presidential looking” candidates, they poll much better than Kamala and plus, if Joe resigns the presidency (or heaven forbid, the 25th amendment is invoked), we registered democrats have a real problem on our hands, in that Kamala then becomes the de facto incumbent which leaves us very little room to be greasy and slimy (in the event Michelle would need to run because the polling of the other three fail to live up to the party masters’ expectations, which I firmly submit my everlasting loyalty to, whoever they are, in exchange for my vote).
There needs to be room to grease the skids. It’s all about winning this election. Who runs the country for the next five months is the least of our problems right now.

Newsome wants to be Kamala’s VP. A brilliant ticket.
Running their combined records in California, the influx of new citizenry there, the continued economic growth and freedom, especially during covid, should give the rest of the country a glimpse of hope in the face of authoritarianism and lost democracy forever.
If Joe resigns this week and allows Kamala a five month head start on her presidency, she will show the universe (as well as Iowa and New Hampshire) why she’s qualified to be president for the next eight years.
There’s no reason the Democrats shouldn’t give her the chance now. If I could vote for her in a primary, I would do it tomorrow, in the 14th district of NY, while also casting a vote for a lifelong term for AOC to occupy any government building of her choice. Can we make that a rule? If the party masters say no, that’s ok, I will bow to their ultimate demands. They know best.

Split the state into a north and a south, like the Koreas, but keep the same ideology in both halves. Do this before the DNC. There’s still time. Would give us registered democrats two additional senators as well. Party masters, we beg you.

Kinda like Oregon is California's Canada.
Problem is. They are both from California and just a few miles away from each.

) and Obama has withheld his endorsement setting up a Clinton v Obama ratfight at the convention while progturd nutters on the fringe left tear the place apart outside.

I would call it eerie to the pointed of shocked disbelief. Both shoe ins* clipped during the run up the convention leading to chaos on the floor while the far left fringe is spun up by a war outside and sidelined inside.
Of course the product of that 1968 convention was Hubert Humphrey/Ed Muskie. I know, right? Who?
