No.
And it really wasn't that much.
That said, it doesn't take much at all for a real situation to exist.
Especially when you're in the middle of a few hundred people trying to vote.

I’m having a small one built next to Zyclone’s mansion.
I’ll be living in Panama. Not to escape Trump, but to escape the shame of the Crimson Tide going 9-3.

Here I go again, finding myself in another ER waiting room. And no, I didn't even have time to bake a cake or make cookies for the docs and nurses.
Having just recovered from covid, at least I don't have to worry about catching it from the several apparent covid patients near me. Oh well, rack the trolls.

There are things I'd rather be doing now. That said, I'm grateful for these docs and nurses, and I'm pretty glad that I'm not some of these other patients here.

This doesn't make any sense. Natural immunity doesn't apply to Covid. Only Pharma is effective. Buncha scientists said so since 2020.

Just got home, glad to be home. But wiped out. Of course there's more medical scheduled, starting tomorrow. Yeah I'm going to sleep tonight. L8

You need to have a Halliburton case handcuffed to your arm stocked with glazed lemon poppy seed muffins in case of emergency.

I used to keep a Thermos of it in the trunk of my ‘72 Pinto. Never had any trouble with it. Smelled a bit funky, though.

Re: A thread for things that don't warrant their own thread
Bleeding has slowed, thanks. It is my prostate, and evidently it is a good thing that it is bleeding out instead of back into my bladder, so I'm grateful for that.
Yesterday was another holy shit moment, blood got all over me as well as the bathroom wall and floor. But it has slowed down since then.
Anyway, we'll just deal with this and keep on going. I do encourage y'all to get regular check ups and deal with things early.

Is that resulting from some procedure you had?
I hope you’re doing OK.

Damn, dude. I’m looking for the silver lining here but all I can come up with is…at least you’re not AP.

Re: A thread for things that don't warrant their own thread
I am doing ok, thanks, but there has been no recent procedure, it is just bleeding. Feels kinda like I've been punched in the lower stomach but at least it is not acute pain.
A few years ago I had a roto-rooter prostate surgery, where they bore a hole thru it. That helped, but it seems that the damn thing has swollen up again, so there's a pretty decent chance that I'll have that same surgery again soon. Doc doesn't think I have cancer and I am grateful for that.
You have to laugh your way thru these things. For example, yesterday I managed to get a little blood on my shoulder. Now how the hell did that happen? I swear I wasn't doing anything weird in the bathroom, but I did have to clean up a fair amount of blood. I guess it dripped from my hand, I really don't know.

Aging sucketh. Hang in there, Chip.
Re: A thread for things that don't warrant their own thread
I had some bad BPH symptoms after my focal PC treatment almost two years ago. Had to wear a catheter for four weeks, but things cleared up and are still OK. My urologist suggested that if the symptoms come back I should consider something called Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE). It's a minimally invasive outpatient procedure where they inject some kind of substance through a catheter that blocks some of the small arteries, causing it to shrink. No surgery. Much less trauma. You might want to ask about that.Roux wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 3:46 pm

Re: A thread for things that don't warrant their own thread
Moving around like a broken down 30 year old mule this past week. With no provocation whatsoever, my jerry-rigged* back took a shit on me and locked up. In addition, because the docs insisted the growths needed to be excised asap, I kept 2 appointments (one in Gumptown, one in Birmingham) to remove lovely imperfections from my face and my left shoulder. The Bham drive did wonders for my back…I am bent like a pretzel now. Can’t do any weights or pushups for 2-4 weeks. I will no doubt wither away to a Don Knotts replica physique shortly.
Prostate cancer and now melanoma (diagnosed two weeks ago with initial shoulder scoopage). Yet I continue to assert that I’m in better shape than most of this board. I realize by suggesting so, I am running the risk of a stealth attack by Kierland, but I’ll take my chances.
Onward and upward. I’m not complaining…just venting. Walking like an old man is battering my self image.
*I could have sworn it was “gerry”.

Damnit Sam, take care of all that. Be a compliant patient and do the things they tell you to do.

Thanks, Chip. I’m fine. I’m not leaking blood. You, sir, need to be careful.
