And I said the same thing...until I saw it frame-by-frame.

Nope. Refs got the call right.

There sure appears to be a hand of an OU player poking through Paysinger's bent arm.

Whether there is or isn't, no objective, honest person can say that there's "conclusive evidence" that said hand didn't come through and touch it first.

Watching that more, I'm feeling much better about the whole deal, since the officials made the correct call, or as far as the replay review goes.

Absolutely no proof on any of that video that the OU player didn't reach through and touch it first.

The review was correct....which is a 180 from what I said yesterday.

And let's keep some perspective here -- U of O certainly got screwed on a couple of calls that head a great effect on the game, for themselves...let's not conveniently forget that part, since we're trying to be "objective" and all...

Although I think Stewart's fumble really was a fumble...he was juggling it a bit when his knee hit...that's a fumble.

If this is what Soonerfan is going to use as an excuse for the remainder of the season...I feel sorry for them. The reviewer made the correct call, and OU played some absolutely atrocious defense at crunch time, when it matters most. Hell, they let they Ducks march down field and do as they pleased, even allowing Dixon to all-but WALK into the endzone for one of their final two TDs...in less than 3 freaking minutes.

That "call" will be one of the most overstated factors of this whole season. How about Stoops and Co. calling "hey, just go ahead and not cover anyone...we'll be fine." I'd say that was a much more important call than any the refs did or didn't make(like not calling offensive PI, which allowed an OU TD).
I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one

Same Pac 10 officiating crew that worked the Rice/UCLA game last week, the referee is a complete tard. Took 5 minutes for him to decide a UCLA TD was good when both feet were clearly in.

Spare me the offensive P.I. How's about you watch THAT shit "frame by frame" too? You'll see an arm flailing, not contacting or pushing off, and a DB that knows he's been beaten by a much larger receiver trying to get a call.
