We're not talking about Van here, that was between Mgo and me.

Van = Harmed by a breech in confidence and harmed by a drunk driver who took his wife from him. You won't catch me going anywhere near them because I have been "think skinned" on the former, and haven't experienced the latter.

Other than that, Goobs, Mgo, Mikey, and I were just being silly.

Thank God I don't.
Yeah, right. Cause you never insert yourself into board dramas at all. Seriously, can the bullshit. Nobody is ever going to buy it. You're one of the biggest board drama fags to ever clack his dickbeaters across a keyboard.

Overall, 77% of the players said there should be no replay on base balls. One NL player who voted no said, "No instant replay, period. It's a game of close plays, and once they get going, where will it end? We'll be staring at screens the whole time."

You had to know that anyone who plays the game, has played the game, or enjoys the game would be against instant replay.
Exactly.

Just to give an idea of what the game could be like, it would be interesting to have some games played at either the minor league level or MLB exhibition that would minimize the role of human umpires. Balls & strikes, fair or foul, home run or in-play could all be done electronically, with umps used mainly to call safe or out on tag plays, and replay available to uphold or overturn them. I'm a purist who wants to see the game continue as it is currently played, warts & all, but it still would be enlightening to see what could be.

On the other end of the spectrum, it would be interesting to have a game played with no umpires and no electronic calls. All calls are made by the players on the honor system, and all decisions are arrived at on a consensus basis. Catchers would make the ball and strike calls and if a batter disagrees, the game will stop until both sides agree. Other disputes would be handled the same way.

And your thumb has never been up the cock of drama? LV teeter-twisted your ball-hair enough to where we couldn't wade through the tears.
Lillian Vernon is a message board ass-boil. A minor irritation that begged for excision.

You're a fried chicken in a trough eating dumbshit and the only breaks you take from gorging yourself to death are to either say "I'm over the drama" or check out the latest board drama. None here give a fuck about your interpretation of anything.

Try not wiping the smudges on your reading glasses with the bacon grease deposits on your mumu and you may begin to see things on your screen for what they are.

Hey 'spray...good to see you back! I see our welcoming committee has shown up in force to greet your return with its usual warmth and hospitality. And I wouldn't expect anything less for someone of your legendary stature - figuratively speaking, of course.

Quite the twists & turns this thread has taken, huh? Just never can tell what's gonna happen 'round these parts, can ya? How 'bout that non-goal our footie boys got against Slovakia or Slobania or Tardistan or whatever the fuck that shithole of a country is we played today? I tell ya, we was robbed! Talk about your worst calls. Oh, sorry - my bad. Trying to get this thread back on topic is an unforgivable show of bad form. Won't let that happen again.

Gonna stick around for dessert? Who wants pie?

Got nothin' but live music ready to play tonight. I'm sure I can squeeze in some Allman Bros. Be nice to see you pop in for a spell.

Anyway, say hello to the missus for me. Always good to see ya back where you belong. Y'all take care, ya hear?

"Me So Horny" by 2LiveCrew was playing on my grandmother's Bosch radio/cordless tool battery charger.

I never thought I'd be able to listen to that song again after that day, but you know what? It's actually a pretty good song.

Oh yeah, my twin brother's name was Rex Stonedash and he was going to win the Olympic Gold Medal in the Decathlon that year...if he had lived...~sob~...

When they fished his body out of the water, the Harbour Police said while under water, he had fashioned a crude writing device out of an old trout and scratched "Marty, you're my best friend" on a discarded KFC 15 piece bucket someone had thrown in the lake.

Luckily, my mom and dad had another brother for me, but he died too...but that's another story.
Honestly, these combined takes are the funniest I've read on this board. Phibes prior take started the laughter. Never saw this particular thread until I arrived home this morning.

So did Van quit the board then? Oh and BTW, don't send pics to anyone on this board in private either. Just sayin' and trying to help.

Smackie, if you're reading this, then you must know I did personally (you know, in person) apologize to "rapomak" and his sister "Reina" about what 10 years ago? I forgot all about that until you reminded me.

Wags, it seems you've tried to reconcile with Van and I thought you've tried to make it right. Not sure if anyone has ever met Van to know if he is/was married as I have never read his long-winded posts about THEE nothing interesting. I only argue with him when it's fun to rile him up about guitarists. I will say he gave me good advice about buying a great dirt bike back in 03 or 04? Never knew if he was married or not. If he was married, why did he spend so much time coddling Annie the Board Killer? He never answered that question so many asked. She is/was a parasite that would kill scroll wheels in kind. Glad the admins got rid of that POS.

Anyway, Marty's and Phibes' jabs had me crying out loud from laughing so hard. I could picture those takes in my mind as I could see what they were illustrating in written form. Good work Cannucks.
