God told His Children to execute people for certain crimes. On a more pragmatic note, some people just need killin'. No sense keeping them around.

The death penalty, in 2011, isn't about God killing people - or God telling some people to kill some other people.

Sure, it's about executing the most hideously vile and murderous scum our society has to offer. What's "arrogant" about that? It's just taking out the garbage.

You know who also used to think that way? Wolftard. It's disappointing someone who is such a "strict constitutionalist" like yourself plays fast and loose with legal thresholds when it comes to the ultimate punishment, a solution that has the smallest margin for error.

As a "strict constitutionalist" (sic), 88 is no doubt aware that the "legal threshold" for capital punishment is established by the Fifth Amendment.

As an idiot, you are no doubt unaware of pretty much anything of relevance.

Marty, in all fairness to Derron I can give a simple explanation... his medulla must have damage. The damage being between his spinal cord and higher brain centers... if there is such a high level to aspire. CVA is the only plausible explanation for his stupidity and I want to leave it here and not continue wasting time on this moron.

No, what doesn't make any sense is this:

Killing is wrong.
You killed someone.
To show how wrong it is, guess what?
We're going to kill you.

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense either.

Fortunately, that isn't what is being said. What is being said is that murder is wrong and the penalty (for some very few of the worst murders) is death.

Of course, seven of the nine witnesses against him at trial subsequently recanted. Those witnesses further stated that they were coerced into giving testimony inculpatory of Davis by the police, and that the actual killer also testified against Davis.

Funny how there were no media and anti-death penalty coverage of the "other" execution last night.
I wonder why?

you said 7 of the 9 recanted? well that leaves 2 who didnt then, I guess the corrupt lawyers couldnt get them to lie.

the bulk of Obama voters cant even speak in complete sentences, they are drug users, and, they mainly dine on lucky charms and cocoa pebbles, and not just for breakfast either/

Not to run grammar smack or anything, but if you can't form an actual sentence accusing someone of not being able to speak in complete sentences, you don't deserve air.

Jack, im not pretending to be brilliant, far from it. BUT, I am sick and tired of liberals trying to paint conservatives as stupid, WHEN, the fuckin vice president of the USA, joe "plugs" Biden says the dumbest things this side of HEE HAW.

Liberals have been calling conservatives dumb since Reagan, YET, if you look at the cockroaches who voted for Obama? Pants below the privates, vocabulary below 35 words,
cocoa pebbles as a mainstay food, lucky charms for a complete dinner.
ITS FUNNY AS HELL how stupid the voters for Obama really are.
HELL, I dont pretend to be smart, I come in here and type really fast, make errors, BUT, at the end of the day, my point not only gets across, but IT RINGS TRUE, fuckin true.

Have you ever spoken to an ACORN worker? I have, and let me be the first to point out, that they are on about the same level as a cockroach.

He is the only one with any track record of economic success on the big stage. That's because he's the only one smart enough to get the fuck out of the way. The more DC tries to "fix things" the more fucked up they get. Perry understands that, if nothing else.
