Sure, but if they keep pulling bigtime classes like this, 2 years from now is looking good (although I mentioned the lack of skill players, but good lines make mediocre skill players look good).
And some guys might even be lured by that piece of paper that says Stanford on it.
Shaw is doing a great job.

All I know is that those smartasses have beaten USC three in a row, and next year's game is at Stanford Stadium. The Streak has to end.

Pretty much what I'm thinking. They won the last two games by the breadth of one of those pubic hairs stuck in M2's teeth that he snagged while blowing the bangers-and-mash guy behind the jousters' tent, and that was with Andrew Luck plus two NFL first-round draft-pick O-Lineman. Minus those guys, and with USC returning everyone except Matt Kalil and Nick Perry?
Vengeance will be Cardinal and Gold.

Well, Cal couldn't overcome the worst bitch move in College Football recruiting history... with Lupaid sneaking out in the middle of the night to clear his desk out and head to the Fuskies with less than a couple of weeks before signing day.
If anyone wants to know what really happened ... you can read it here
Long.... but you'll be able to see what a sick fuck To$h Lupaid really is. He'll go down as the sickest fuck EVER in College Football recruiting.
That being said, I'm happy Cal filled all its needs with this class and didn't have to resort to over signing and telling commits to hit the road because we just got commits with more stars like Alabama, ucla, stanfurd, usc, etc.
Cal needed a qb and got the #2 qb in the country.
Cal needed wr's and landed the best wr class in the country...
1. Bryce Treggs
2. Chris Harper
3. Cedric Dozier
4. Darius Powe
5. Kenny Lawler
Stanfurd and SC had monster days... and Oregon got a beast of a wr out of Houston.
And... fucla, well they're going to have to explain to 15 kids on scholarship why they are no longer on the team and have to hit the road.
Cal will sign a few more players in the days to come... but, with the shit To$h pulled it will open up Cal for a class next year that will have anywhere from 30 to 35 players.
I'm just glad the fuskies didn't benefit (other than shaq) and all the other commits went to other schools in the PAC.

USC only signed fifteen players, and Stanford only signed twenty-two. How do you figure they oversigned? Even UCLA only signed twenty-six kids, so why will they need to dump fifteen current scholarship players?

I don't have the numbers, and can't be bothered to look them up...
but you do realize you can only have 85 players on scholarship, right?
So if you only graduate X players, and sign Y players...
that's right, you hate math.
For the sake of all that's holy, don't get clowned by Toolio.

How many players did SC tell to hit the road ???
Carlise, Prater, etc,... ring a bell ?
Stanfurd told 3 or 4 players with 4.0's that they didn't qualify academically, while admitting kids with 3.0's to 3.2's because they were 2 and 3 stars.
They did all this with just a few days before singing day. Complete bullshit moves.

Telling them on academic grounds is bullshit (if troof).
But if you're attending a school on a free ride, which is essentially getting paid to play football, and if you want to keep that schollie... play better.
Lots of NFL teams (and Arena teams, and others) told people to hit the road -- guess they should have played better.
Wanna not play well and attend Stanford with a 4.0? Pay for it.

Tillman Decommits From Stanford
West St. Mary (Baldwin, La.) DB Jontrey Tillman was informed over the weekend that he was denied admission to Stanford, despite a 4.0 GPA and 26 GPA...
Jontrey Tillman pledged his services to Stanford in June 2011, but he got an unexpected phone call over the weekend.
"Stanford called Jontrey at 5 P.M. Friday and told him he wasn't accepted," said West St. Mary head coach Ryan Antoine. "Their defensive coordinator had been here five times and the DBs coach was here last Monday.
"They said they want him, but they can't question admissions or they will lose their jobs. I talked to Coach (David) Shaw on Saturday, and he said they can't control admissions. He said it's secretive."
Antoine was perplexed. "Jontrey is devastated," he said. "This is a kid from a depressed socioeconomic environment who had been committed to Stanford since June. He turned down 20 scholarship offers and they tell him about this a week before National Signing Day?
"I read an article that said Barry Sanders has a 3.2 grade point average, and another commit has a 3.7. How do you explain that?"
Antoine says Tillman has the credentials.
"He runs a 10.3 in the 100 and a 4.3 in the 40-yard dash," stated Antoine. "Jontrey had 2,000 all-purpose yards as a senior with 5,000 over the past two years. He's an icon in this community who has broken every school record.
"Jontrey didn't want to play in the basketball game Friday night, but to show you what kind of kid he is, he did play and hit the game-winning shot against Jeanerette."
Which schools are now in the mix?
"Houston is coming this week," said Antoine. "June Jones at SMU is coming tomorrow. Indiana will be here Wednesday; Colorado will be here on Friday.
"I'm confused and frustrated. The coaches at Stanford had told me it's a no-brainer that Jontrey was going to be accepted. Now I'm trying to get his name out there. He's the hardest-working kid on this team. Jontrey only visited Stanford. He turned down other visits because he was committed to Stanford."
Dins, natural attrition occurs, allowing teams to sign their normal allotment each year, and USC has suffered much more than the usual attrition. The one thing about which you can be certain these days is that USC is following every last damn rule to the Nth degree; not just in fact, but in spirit. Pat Haden isn't about to allow any shady bullshit.
Also, Lane Kiffin isn't about to force able bodies out of the program. They don't have enough as it is. They can't afford to lose any more depth. Even during the Pete Carroll years they usually undersigned, and that has remained the case during Kiffin's tenure. Quality, not quantity. Guys like Prater leave on their own once they see the writing on the wall. They came in as highly regarded stars, and suddenly they can't get a sniff of the field. In their minds they're still stars, so they go elsewhere in search of playing time.

USC is a top 25 academic University in the nation and has about a 24% acceptance rate, there are 14 universities in the state of California that are better than Oregon and its 80% acceptance rate. Stanfraud, would sign a guy named Jerome... if they knew he could play football.
furd, is no better than Alabama.
You should know how private schools roll...
being that they don't have to publish their players academics.

Notre Dame 96%
Duke 95%
Northwestern 95%
Rice 93%
Navy 92%
Boston College 90%
Vanderbilt 89%
Rutgers 88%
Stanford 86%
Air Force 86%
Hmmm, let's see, that's two service academies, one state school (Rutgers) and, dare I say it, seven private schools in the Top 10.

CBS Sports... Cal # 15 in the country with only 15 recruits... while lsu had 22.
Not bad for a team that lost four 5 star recruits due to the slimiest recruiter in College Football history. The slime ball made 1/3 of the PAC 12 teams recruiting class much better due to lying to kids.
Cal has the # 2 high school qb in the country... signed, sealed, and delivered with this class.
How did lsu do with their qb recruiting ???

I'll take the six O-linemen we got over your Fag 5:
• Jordan Diamond — 6-6, 290
• Avery Young — 6-6, 275
• Patrick Miller — 6-7, 265
• Shane Callahan — 6-6, 275
• Will Adams — 6-5, 280
• Robert Leff — 6-6, 270

Freddie Tagaloa 6-8 300 bookend ... and not an ounce of fat.
Christian Okafor 6-6 300 bookend ... and not an ounce of fat.
Matt Cochran 6-4 340 center and road-grader ... and his brother next year Aaron Cochran 6-8 350 bookend and road-grader
Steven Moore 6-6 270 bookend/guard... with huge upside
Yeah, Cal is gonna be that sick with Zach Kline coming in as the #2 qb in the country and the strongest arm of any recruit.
They compare his arm strength with "horse face" yet, he actually has a brain with a 3.90 gpa and is already enrolled as a EE.

The ethnic group you're referring to isn't crying. My comment was called sarcasm fuck head. I guess Deontay Greenberry decided to go elsewhere. No big deal. ND will survive and I wish him luck. Your problem is that you run around her and claim you know stuff, well you don't know a fucking thing. Well you do know Cal will continue to suck ass but just won't admit it. You make predictions about shit you fucking know nothing about. Cal is getting Adams....UCLA...cal is getting Payton...ucla.....call is getting this guy and that guy.......then most of that doesn't happen and all you have is one verbal that ND lost and you think it's going to have an impact on me. Big fucking deal.....ND lost a recruit. Fucking Cal lost a bunch and that's all you've got. Your program hasn't won shit since honest abe was president but you make it seem like they win every fucking year. Get off you're candy ass and face the fact that Cal always has been and always will be a 2nd rate program. Big deal...brag about your recruits. You've got a QB coming in with a strong arm.......Big fucking deal. Can he play? Well in Cal's system he'll probably be in interception machine by the time he's a sophomore. you brag about offensive lineman who don't have an ounce of fat but can they block? Probably not. Do us a favor and please continue to give us comedy on a regular basis with your lack of recruiting and overall football knowledge. It really helps give us some shit to laugh about.
