Of course they are. Look at costal south Texas. It is much greener in April than it is in September. Water appears different colors as well due to certain factors.

Composite photos. Africa is huge in real life, not so on maps. Satellites -- like flying overhead or switching to UV/IR vision (sup LS) -- show us things we wouldn't have noticed before. It's the 3D version of Flatland.

Having said that, it's all composites. Would be nice to see Earth's cycles in real time all in one piece, shadows and all, like in the moon landing photo. A whole series of waxing and waning Earth shots... what is the terran version of a New Earth, like a new moon?

A few comments...

1. I do not question that there are flights going over land known as Antarctica.

2. If a flight went over the entire continent of Antarctica, N-S, crossing the pole, it would make a common flat earth concept (Antarctica as the "crust" on a flat earth pizza) impossible.

3. In order to use a flight to show that the globe is true, the flight would need to circle the globe, N-S crossing over both poles. If that was demonstrated it would then be probable that the globe is true.

Interesting. If a boat has sailed all around Antarctica and a plane has crossed some part of Antarctica even if not directly overhead pole that would prove #2. We know both have happened so your Antarctica as a crust of the pizza doesn’t work.

#3 has been done multiple time. It was posted here that Pan Am flew one of these flights back in the day. You chose not to believe it.
