I don't listen to rap, as I stated. I acknowledge the talent involved. That's the extent of it. This is simple reading comprehension, not getting on a treadmill. It doesn't have to be so hard. I understand this is a logic and a dynamic far beyond what your brain can comprehend due to years of shooting heroin and subsequently bacon grease, even assuming your brain once functioned at a remedial level at all which is probably awfully generous on my part.

I don't listen to music for lyrics. Good lyrics are a bonus but not a necessity. Bad lyrics can ruin everything though.

Yep. Same here. Though my radio shows trended to 60s and 70s music, that isn't what I always listen to. You do have to try somewhat to please the audience. When I'm not spinning tunes, I play a lot of blues, jazz and newer indy artists. I used to listen to more late 80s and early 90s rap, but having a 5 year old limits the amount of times I can jam "Straight Outta Compton."

Pretty sure that is St Barts. St Maarten is a much larger airport that can handle 747s and A340s.

KC Scott,

I am guessing you didn't visit Maho Beach while in St Maarten. There is a bar just off of the flight path where the jets fly just over the beach and people lay on the sand looking up at the planes less than 100 feet above them.

This shot shows the bar at the far end of the beach and the danger sign in the fore ground.

Some even hang on the fence when the planes are taking off. This I do not recommend.

Here is another view with a MD-80 taking off, shot from the water. (small plane to everyone but LTS)

St Barts is actually far more difficult to get in. There is the hill that you shot your photo from that makes each arrival have a very steep final. Plus the runway isn't long, so you can't float much at all on landing. Pretty much need to land like Navy carrier pilots do. Slam it on.

This guy should have gone around. Lots of issues with this one.

We always hit the Maho Beach bar for a couple of hours the day we leave. It is awesome. Good grub, good drinks, hottie bartenders.

I believe the Travel Channel did a show a while back on Extreme Airports. St. Maarten was #4. Looking forward to going back. St. Maarten is my favorite of all the islands we've been to.

Doubt that I'll ever do a cruise.
