It's an unspeakably horrific job, but extremely necessary and important if we are to save the constitutional republic.
Let's play Stump The Bot again . . .

Yes you must have eaten the GQP bullshit party line since your inbred John Birch youth. But now you are almost accurate about being a shit eating bottom feeder. The constitutional republic will only be saved by brave leftists who are not nazis, and LGBQI wrastlers.

What makes you think that the right of secession is not clearly detailed in the constitution? :?: :?:

Words and stuff.

Re: Doom

You mean like these?

There is no provision in the U.S. Constitution which prohibits a state from seceding from the union. This is made clear by a proposal which was made at the 1787 Constitutional Convention to grant the new federal government the specific power to suppress a seceding state. James Madison, widely acknowledged as the key founding father of the Constitution and scholar, rejected this proposal stating, “A Union of states containing such an ingredient seemed to provide for its own destruction. The use of force against a state would look more like a declaration of war than an infliction of punishment and would probably be considered by the party attacked as dissolution of all previous compacts by which it might be bound." The assurance of state sovereignty is embodied in the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution, which reserves to the states all rights which have not been specifically delegated to the federal government. As the federal government was never delegated the right to force the states into violent submission, secession is properly a legal right which can be exercised at any time.

Leftists openly speak about tearing down our principles of liberty and our constitutional republic.
There is a Republican candidate for President who claims that states have a right to secede, and a Republican member of Congress who has called for a national divorce between the red states and blue states.

Just wondering, how would you describe these positions?
The first is a Constitutionally accurate statement of fact. The second is an opinion.

Might be time to buy.

Got paid for a case in 20some oz of palladium in early 2000’s. I think it was 200 something an oz. At the time. Sold most of it at beginning of covid to help fund the latest trip at about 10x that and kept a couple just cause it’s shiny. Hard to tell if it will go back up obviously cause it’s never been up there historically. Silver and platinum both have and gold has been close so sounds like a crap shoot to me.

But I’m just a bot so….

*Not financial advice*, but BUY might be a good idea if you are looking to hold it long-term.

In the short-term, I would not be surprised to see if fall further.

SVB doom

Shares in Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a key lender to technology start-ups, plummeted on Thursday as investors moved to withdraw their deposits.
The slide came a day after the bank announced a $2.25bn (£1.9bn) share sale to help shore up its finances.
Shares in banks have fallen around the world - with the four largest US banks, including JP Morgan and Wells Fargo, losing more than $50bn in market value.
One venture capitalist told the BBC the day's events were "wild" and "brutal".
Stock markets in Asia also fell on Friday, led lower by shares in banks.
Shares in SVB saw their biggest one-day drop on record as they plunged by more than 60% and lost another 20% in after-hours trade...

Keep an eye on the Asian markets on Sunday night, and watch the futures.

One things we know for sure, the markets do not like uncertainty.

With the potential for contagion from the SVB debacle being very real, it would not be a shocker to see stocks take a big dive early in the week.

The expedited Fed meeting on Monday will give us some clues as to where this might be headed.

The FED didn't even wait until Monday morning, which is, imo, acknowledgement that people are pretty rattled by what is happening.
Trying to get out in front of this situation before it escalates into something worse.
