The 'main stream' media has failed miserably (or in many cases, on purpose), Jsc.

Arpaio didn't launch an investigation by his own will - because he himself had been put to sleep by the media on this issue.
He was approached with a petition signed by 250 tea partiers in Maricopa County - the people who elected him, to look into the issue.
Arpaio went ahead and thought he would easily clear the president.

He assigned Mike Zullo to look into it.
Zullo, also put to sleep by the MSM, thought he would go into the first meeting, which would last 30 minutes, and the whole crackpot thing would be put to bed.

But instead, Zullo knew in very short order that there was a very serious case of fraud here.
