Vladimir Putin is alleged to have suffered a "cardiac arrest" in his private Moscow apartment on Sunday evening.
A Telegram Channel believed to be run by a former Kremlin insider reported that incident saying the Russian leader was found by guards on the floor of the bedroom "lying on the floor, rolling his eyes."
Doctors were reportedly called immediately and they later diagnosed the 71-year-old as having suffered a "cardiac arrest."
Putin was then moved to a special medical facility built in the apartment where he underwent intensive care, the source claims.
The unverified report comes following persistent speculation surrounding Putin's health amid rumours of a long-hidden medical condition.

If Putin were to die, or be relieved of power, we get to wonder and worry about his successor’s intentions. There is a designated path of succession, but that’s not a guarantee the Russians would go that route.
Something else to sweat over if one is so inclined.
I’d prefer to concentrate on my grandkids’ softball, football, and soccer.

George Bush throws out the first pitch at World Series number -----> 119.
Doesn't stand on the rubber, and bounces it.
Quite a contrast to his first pitch, after 9/11, where he stood on the rubber,
tossed it, and it was -----> money!

Anthony Fauci thinks that was terrible
Give GWB a douchy hairdo and an awkward bird crane stance and that's a legitimate pitch in an NLCS game.

He's nowhere near the level of fitness that he was in for the first pitch. His walking gait alone shows that.

I’m impressed he can throw at all at this point. I haven’t been able to throw overhand for years. Rotator cuff surgeries, torn labrum, etc. Only sidearm and underhand for me. Got a damn good spiral throwing football underhanded. Impresses my grandkids!

The same story is on India Today., and Siasat.com (India).
The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced its current estimates of privately-held net marketable borrowing for the October – December 2023 and January – March 2024 quarters.
During the October – December 2023 quarter, Treasury expects to borrow $776 billion in privately-held net marketable debt, assuming an end-of-December cash balance of $750 billion. The borrowing estimate is $76 billion lower than announced in July 2023, largely due to projections of higher receipts somewhat offset by higher outlays. During the January – March 2024 quarter, Treasury expects to borrow $816 billion in privately-held net marketable debt, assuming an end-of-March cash balance of $750 billion.
The U.S. Treasury needs to borrow over 1.5 Trillion Dollars in the next 6 months.
lol
6 freaking months.
Let it sink in.
How does it feel to know that your treasury is -----> broke?

It “is,” or it “could be?” Whoever wrote that is an imbecile.

As winter virus activity picks up, CDC warns of 'urgent need' to boost vaccine coverage Rising rates of flu, Covid and RSV prompted the agency to urge clinicians to push for more vaccinations.
Not enough Americans are being vaccinated against Covid, the flu and RSV to stem rising numbers of the respiratory illnesses, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday.
The agency issued a health alert to doctors across the country, warning that low vaccination rates amid "ongoing increases in national and international respiratory disease activity" could strain U.S. health care systems in the coming weeks, and called on doctors to encourage their patients to get the shots immediately to protect them for the remainder of the season.
"In the past 4 weeks, hospitalizations among all age groups increased by 200% for influenza, 51% for Covid-19, and 60% for RSV," the CDC said in its health alert...
