Dr. John Campbell totally downplays mpox.
Doesn't expect it to be a big problem in the West.

It's just BootiePox, I've read it's sexually transmitted. Any normal person would just over-the-counter medicate the piss out of it. A condom, a stick of butter and chewable vitamins - good to go. Bring on the Pox.

Clade II mpox is transmitted sexually, but the current strain (Clade 1) is more virulent, more deadly, and is spread through close contact and/or through touching items that have been contaminated by someone carrying the pox.
This is why it is spreading rapidly, and why it is spreading to multiple African countries, and now to Sweden, Pakistan, and almost certainly other countries.

Softball Bat, what do you speculate the authorities are not telling the public? I mean in regards to the scourge of infectious diseases now circulating generally?
Keep your eyes on the prize, salvation is the goal.

So is this a fake disease, like Covid, or a real one? I'll let you experts figure it out.

I took a lot of heat for my pro-pox sentiments on this board, all I can say is I regret that as I was young and idealistic. I suspect it's real, it's getting passed round faster than a dildo at a Chiefs game.

Did y’all listen to Harris’ economic plans? I almost wrecked my truck listening to her. I may as well have because I won’t be able to put gas in it if she wins and implements her ideas.
Price controls on groceries and fuel. Can you say shortages?
$25,000 to all first-time home buyers! We’re gonna need more money printing machines, Harris. Oh, you’ll tax the shit outta the middle class that you pretend to want to grant some relief? She must think her supporters are dumb as hell.
Doom indeed. She has GOT to lose in November.

My speculation has been that Covid was a "warm-up," and the real pandemic is yet to come.
This is why I was interested when mpox became an issue two years ago, and it is why I am interested again now, when this new, more deadly and virulent strain is circulating rapidly in Africa, and now outside of Africa.
Just generally speaking, plagues have always been occurring throughout history.
In our current time, immune systems have been compromised, and populations are very vulnerable.
Revelation 6:8 (ESV) and Matthew 24:7 (KJV) continue to play out.

That is bad, real bad. Her saying it is one thing but her handlers letting her say it is way bad. Straight up pandering and/or ignorance or disdain of the assured results.

In 2024, DRC (Congo) has reported 16,789 cases (14 151 suspected and 2 638 confirmed) including 511 deaths (case
fatality 3%)
The previous mpox strain (less deadly) had been isolated most entirely to DRC, and it was spread almost exclusively through gay sex.
But mpox has now spread rapidly into many nearby African countries.
The new mpox strain is found now in Kenya, which is worrying, because there is significant international travel in and out of Kenya.
It is in Sweden and Pakistan for sure, and it is almost certainly in many countries by now.
The new strain is most likely already in America, imo.
3% mortality rate in DRC, and the majority of those deaths are children.
I would venture to guess that the mortality rate might be lower in countries that have more advanced health care.
But that is just my speculation.

You obviously have no idea how economies work.
Price controls control prices and keep those greedy big businesses from raising prices, while keeping our cabinets stocked for months. Henry Hazlitt wrote a whole book on this, maybe you should google it.You will see prices immediately go down the exact moment Kamala gets front door keys to the White House (and no sooner).
Just like the Inflation Reduction Act reduces inflation. Just like full employment policy employs everybody. Just like rent controls bring everyone’s rents down and makes everyone happier and less homeless. Just like rich people’s saving accounts are the equivalent of giant Scrooge safes.
Words matter.

One other thing to note about mpox...
If this new strain of the pox arrives in America and starts spreading substantially, people are going to start to FREAK OUT.
Freak out if the mortality rate is anywhere close to 3%, but also because when someone gets the pox, they look HIDEOUS.
Grotesque. Disfigured. Like a creature.
Nobody wants that.

Covid. Huge numbers worldwide vaccinated. Immune systems compromised. Mpox and who knows what’s in the pipeline.
Fear = control.

I have been aware of the following NTI paper that came out about 3 years ago, in the midst of Covid.
Look through it if you want, but I ask you to look at the tabletop exercise scenario on page 10.
In the "exercise," mpox is identified as a concern, with 1,421 cases and 4 deaths.
Just a year-and-a-half later, about 40% of people on earth have been infected with the pox, and 271 million people have died.
A total explosion of a pandemic. Ultra-deadly.
It is very interesting that mpox was used in this "exercise," 3+ years ago.
This is one reason why I was very interested when mpox became a global health emergency two years ago, and it is why I am even more interested now, with mpox having this new strain develop.
And now a global mpox emergency has been declared this week.
Look at the link -- page 10 especially.
Or not.
Your choice.

Kamala kinda forgot to put a heavy emphasis on passing aggressive federal minimum wage laws. But I understand why she hesitated, priority #1 is establishing disciplined economic policy by first hammering home the need for price controls. A $50 starting floor for federal minimum wage should get voters’ attention that she means (the end of) business.
We need to squeeze small business owners so that the Walmarts and McDonalds can have even more market share, so we can officially end this little facade that we all have choices as consumers. We don’t. And we don’t really care. We are ready for a more neighborly society.
The only way to achieve all this is to legislate strong price controls AND aggressive minimum wage laws. Hit greedy small business owners where it hurts!
This will give we, the democratic voters, everything we’ve been clamoring for— low prices, zero inflation, full employment and higher wages for workers. Greedy white trash small business owners can supplement their (minor) losses with all that extra cash just sitting idly in their giant Scrooge safes (or they can just thankfully close up shop, good riddance to the white trash!). It’s just common sense Economics 101, and only Kamala is seasoned enough to deliver this for the American proletariat.
Diego will be here soon to back me up and dunk this point home. I believe he has seen real life results in Seattle (just as I have witnessed at home too, thanks to all the hard work of my NY 14th district’s very own Alexandrea Occasio “Coronado” Cortez; we nicknamed her that for all the amazing economic policies she discovered, while bartending, that have never been tried before in human history, but that has brought amazing prosperity to everyone in Queens NY).

Doom indeed. She has GOT to lose in November.
This time around, the news media has been fully absorbed into the blob, doing all its bidding, like the blob’s personal Chat GPT, while the blob itself has grown to be a larger and more potent governing entity than the flimsy scaffold of elected officials who front for it. But the Democratic Party has faltered badly in its years’ long efforts to cover for the blob, mainly by lying to the American people about everything. Running “Joe Biden” in 2020 was a dishonest act of desperation that only worked with a rigged election and then prosecuting anyone who attempted to complain. The party knew that “JB” was a mental phantom four years ago, and they had the effrontery to try running him again in ’24, until ol’ “Joe” made it impossible with his demented public behavior.
They also know that Kamala Harris is an empty vessel with a drinking problem, but they’ve desperately pulled out all the stops to make her appear legitimate. Her performance the past three weeks has not exactly been reassuring. Her running mate, Governor Walz, comes off straight-up insane. Why would they now not attempt to dump them with the same bad faith they installed them?

More great ideas from the state of mikey....
California advances 0 down, no payment home 'loans' for undocumented immigrants
(The Center Square) - The California Senate Appropriations Committee advanced a bill to allow undocumented immigrants to make use of the state’s zero down, no payment home “loan” program, an expansion the legislature says would create “significant cost pressures.”
“The social and economic benefits of homeownership should be available to everyone. As such, the California Dream for All Program should be available to all,” wrote bill author Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula, D-Fresno.
AB 1840, which already passed the Assembly and now faces a floor vote in the Senate, would prevent the state’s California Dream for All Shared Appreciation Loans program from denying individuals on the basis of their immigration status. This program allows applicants to secure “loans” of up to 20% of the home’s purchase price — or, about what a typical down payment is — with zero down payment on this state loan, and no payments.
Trying to remember what caused the crash in '08.....Oh yeah, underfunded, bad risk loans...but that's okay, I'm certain the Cali taxpayers won't mind flitting the bill for those that haven't paid into the system one cent....
