China owns land around multiple military bases. Drones flying over or near military facilities are possibly Chinese crafts.

Some drones may be our military responding.

Or they’re all extra-terrestrial and they intend to blast us off the planet. Hopefully that’s the case.

Or, like Larry Hogan, they’re looking at the night sky and have no idea what they’re seeing. Did you read the article? He looked up and saw dozens of drones hovering around but what he really was looking at was Orion. Mass hysteria.

Notwithstanding Professor Hawking's warning about trying to contact aliens, I would love to see alien contact happen, just to watch the reactions of the religious wing nuts from all over the world.

White Emperor fighter capable of space operations.

As reported by Voice of China, a division of the state-run broadcaster CCTV, the design concept features capabilities to achieve supersonic flight and break through the Earth’s atmosphere for space operations.

Wow. I’m sure that China is YUGELY ahead of the US in all technological fields, mostly due to the Biden Criminal Cabal and their Democrat enablers, but this is about the most poorly written piece I’ve ever encountered.

First I’ll point out that, contrary to what you are implying, this fighter doesn’t exist. Even according to the article, it’s a concept still being developed. But surely the US is completely stuck with whatever current technology we have, due to the aforementioned criminal cabal that thankfully will soon be gone, freeing us to return to world technological leadership.

But let’s briefly address the opening sentence that you quoted.
  • Achieving supersonic flight is not exactly a radically new concept. The speed of sound is 767 mph. Escape velocity is about 25,000 mph. The minimum velocity required to achieve orbit is about 17,000 mph.
  • A jet aircraft cannot operate in “space” however you want to define it (and it’s not defined here). Basically, a jet engine needs air for combustion. Above about 70,000 feet you would need rocket engines that require LOX (and maybe CREAM CHEESE?) or some other onboard source of oxygen to support combustion. Ever notice how rockets flying into space have multiple stages? There are reasons for that. Also, once you leave the atmosphere the aerodynamic surfaces don’t work anymore so you need directional thrusters to maintain any kind of directional control.
The author doesn’t discuss any of this. It’s mostly about how cool the mock up looks and that it has bigger bays for carrying air to ground weapons.

There’s a lot more to go into, but I’ll leave it at that for now. The Chinese and Iranian drones filling our night skies are scary enough.

Thank God and gOD we have President Musk coming on board to bring us back to superiority.

What Is the airspeed velocity of an unladen rocket? Is it a European rocket or African?

It always crack me up to see “technical”articles written by people who don’t know what they’re talking about. A long time pet peeve is people who don’t know the difference between kW and kWh. Yes they’re related but very different units. And it happens a lot with pieces by writers who are supposedly “energy journalists”

My understanding is that these are the four new US prototypes proposed by President-elect Musk to counter China’s White Emperor (a title he’s hoping to claim for himself BTW), to be built exclusively by SpaceX (no-bid contracts, of course - that’s part of the deal).

They’re supposed to be able to fly both in air and the vacuum of space, and look really cool. And also take out a Death Star or a whole fleet of drones over New Jersey or Mar a Lago.

 Absolutely spot on.

The leftists in here really do need to take an Econ 101 course.

What happens when there is a dearth of labor in some sector? Wages adjust accordingly.

Gee, maybe we’ll even see some semblance of a middle class re-emerging.

Imagine that.

In the real world the wages won't be adjusted. What will happen is that Republicans, already in the pocket of Big Ag, will make work visas available to foreign workers. Doing so will keep wages down while retaining a workforce that won't complain about workplace violations.

See Elon Musk as an example.

It's even worse than that, Sven.

Leftists WANT a permanent underclass of dark skinned people. They NEED poor people for use and abuse but white poors are too demanding. Immigrants will mow their lawns and wash their laundry for $20 a day and not complain. Pakistani programmers will write their code for $20,000/year and a chance at citizenship. Libshits wrap this cruelty in a veneer of compassion but it looks a lot like modern slavery. They love using ESLs to justify bloated welfare programs and it's a total coincidence rich Libs own the foundations, land, and NGOs getting the contracts to administer massive redistribution of wealth. They threw the barn door open and 20 million immigrants walked in unvetted, then funded NGOs housing them to the tune of a few trillion dollars. That's compassion! They claim rich corporatists getting richer in the process is total coincidence.

Thanks for proving my point. Even using the fifteen-year old federal minimum wage of $7.25/hour an eight hour day would gross $60. Even after taxes are taken out that would leave more than $20.

Again, Republicans love cheap labor.

Just ask Devin Nunes....

Major Blackout Leaves Most of Greenland Without Electricity

Image

A significant power outage has struck Greenland, primarily affecting the capital city of Nuuk. The blackout began around
9:40 AM local time on December 28, 2024. Efforts are underway to determine the cause and restore electricity as quickly as
possible. The current temperature in Nuuk is below -27 degrees Fahrenheit, making the situation particularly dire for residents.

The extreme cold has compounded the urgency of restoring power, with many residents facing harsh conditions without heating.
According to local reports, the blackout has affected not only homes but also critical infrastructure, including hospitals and
emergency services, which are now operating on backup generators...

Actually, if you dared venture outside your woke news bubble, you'd discover an interesting phenomenon....differing points of view within the SAME political party. Your one-voice dims allowed the biden mental charade to continue until 3 months prior to an election (thank them for that) among other deaf no-room for discussion policy.
I predict you'll see some accommodation made to the techies that wrote big checks but once the H1B visa program is exposed as a for profit loophole at the expense of US citizens, it will be dramatically re-structured. Asking for the list of the .01% talent pool brought in is a reasonable request.

It's funny to watch the extreme Right and the Dems lose their minds over differing policy positions within a coalition government. What did they think a coalition government would look like? The MAGA/MAHA movement includes a full spectrum of beliefs but it works as a governing body because it forces leadership to focus on big picture areas where agreement is easy, and then to soften hardline positions to reach a moderate consensus on other policies. It's a marvelous thing to witness and I am proud of the small part I get to play in this incredible movement. VIVA LA VIDA MAHA
