First and goal..... Reggie Bush has 502 all-purpose yards. That is silly.

It's a possibility, depends on how long this game takes or if USC goes up 2 scores.

How does Reggie Bush not win the Heisman at this point?

Two reasons USC won that game:

Reggie Bush
And NUMEROUS suspect calls

Equal factors in my opinion.

And Jimmy, mind telling us why you can't fill your entire stadium?

NUMEROUS suspect calls?
Equal in importance to Bush's performance?

Either you're just a bitter loser or dumber than a bag of rocks.

Give me a fucking break.

In case you didn't know, they don't sell the peristyle end of the stadium. You did notice the temporary stands at the end of the field, didn't you?
My God and GOD you are dumber than a bag of rocks.

They did sell out their entire stadium (again) and there weren't any suspect calls. Every play that was reviewed clearly ended up being called correctly, including the disputed TD by FSU that went their way.

All right,

Now that I got to sleep on it, Reggie Bush won that game for $C.

However, he may not have been enough if the game was called fairly.

And on the stadium you bitches:
The Coliseum has a present full-capacity of 92,000 seats (almost all are chair-back seats). However, for most USC games, a retractable fabric covers many seats, bringing the Coliseum's capacity to about 68,000. There are approximately 25,000 seats from goal line to goal line, including both the north and south sides.
Just because you cover up seats does not mean you have sold out your stadium.

You keep insisting that the game wasn't called fairly, and yet you haven't given a single example.

Back up your claim or stfu.

And, BTW, I believe they announce a "sellout" crouwd of 90,700 last night. If you had actually watched the game you might have seen some of the aerial shots of a full house.

Probably the most SC has drawn to a night game in years. I was very impressed with the large crowd. Getting out of there must have been a bitch.

Fresno has always travelled well which is why bowl committees salivate every time FS has a good season. The biggest fear is playing in another shitty bowl game against a TCU or some boring team that FS doesn't want to play. Fresno only wants to play with the big boys out of conference. Before you point to a Portland State (Steve Mooshigian's team? <--- ex-Bulldog asst), most of the big boys buy out their end of the homa and home contract so they don't have to play Fresno in Bulldog Stadium. So they get left with a home game hole against a crappy team which in turn doesn't bring in "gate" money.

This has been a problem ever since they've started beating the big boys.

As an SC alum and a former FS student, this game was a win-win for me. I just wanted a good close game where SC wins.

Leinart had a terrible game. Our linebacker group has been decimated. And, oh yeah, FSU's secondary is pretty damn good. Props to them for not giving up when we jumped on them in the third quarter.

Lotsa FSU fans at the game last night. Didn't get home until 1:15.

And they announced

And I did watch the game, and I saw the endzone covered with a tarp. I just Love those loyal fans in SC.

Regarding the bad calls, I saw three blocks in the back at various times (kick return and when Bush went crazy running all over the field). I saw two PI calls Fresno should have gotten. And your O-line got away with numerous holds. I will agree that Fresno got some calls but nothing that compared to the advantage SC got.

And on that note, your O-line is not all its cracked up to be. If you didn't have a RB who could out manuver everyone and a QB who has great vision and can get rid of the ball fast, your record would signify how bad your line is.

Course great lesson for UT, all they need to do is put pressure on Leinart and contain Bush (easier said than done) but Fresno showed it worked.

And come on Jimmy, all year long you run your mouth and this is the best you can come up with: idiot? Well I got a few words for you: chicken shit cocksucker.

didn't watch the game, but, I saw holes that My dead grandma with shutyomouth on her back could run through. I can't imagine that fresnecks D line was THAT bad. The trojan line musta had a little to do with it.

Yeah, it worked to the tune of 50 points and 500+ yards in Total Offense.

It's kinda funny innit, the way teams from all over the nation seem to keep learning and applying that same lesson!

Ouch, great point. I guess I thought it put more pressure on Leinart. The real difference in the game was Bush and his speed/agility. W/O him they don't drop even 25 pts. But yeah, you are right it didn't work that well.

You are a misinformed, talentless idiot. Kindly use the search feature of this message board and you'll find several posts by me that this Trojan squad is beatable. I've been consistent on that from the beginning.

That said, kindly show me where I've been running my mouth "all year long".

Jimmy Medalions wrote:You want to talk about Arizona State? The team LSU was lucky to beat thanks to special teams mistakes?

Let's talk about the mighty SEC for a moment. What did we do to Arkansas? Yep, we hung 70 on them. And what did Georgia do to them? They won by a field goal. At home, no less.

And sorry BitterGenie, but it wasn't two years of whining. You can make shit up to support your argument but I'm not buying it. If that's what you SEC Okies want to believe then that's your problem, not ours. Try scheduling a non-DII, non-directional for a change. Even better, try leaving the south sometime. Wait a minute...you did that and lost. That's right.

And thanks for saying ND was overrated. I'm sure if Auburn is lucky enough to be even close against Alabama, you'll conveniently-forget the above remark and say "well, in rivalry games you can throw records out the window".

Got it.

This just about sums it all up.

why would they sell people seats that can not see the field?
The Coliseum wasnt built for football, it ws built for the Olympics, after the Traiders moved to LA they complained about how far the seats were fromthe field so the stadium floor was lowered, the track was removed, more seats were built and the field was moved down to the closed end of the stadium... some 70 yards from the arches and flame. The sundeck was brought in to provide seats at the open end of the stadium and the seats that are covered are covered because they do not have a full view of the field.
As for the covers that bring stadium capacity down to 68,000 seats, that was done for the Traiders only who felt it unfair that their games were blacked out on TV cause they had to sell out a 92,000 seat stadium so they went with an NFL wide average of 68,000 and covered up the rest so their games could be on TV in Southern California.
Thought we had covered that before but some must have missed the short bus that day.
