Not that I'm above using grammar/spelling smack in the most comically egregious of instances but that honestly wasn't the case there.
I really didn't know what an "amebia defense" was and merriam-webster online had no listing for "amebia" either so I quoted it and put a question mark behind it in order to ask you what it meant...

The media dubed the UNLV defense the Ameba defense because of the way an amebia ingests its victims by overwhelming them and ingesting them. That year UNLV did a lot of full court press and put a lot of pressure on the dribbler which forced a ton of turnovers or as they said, overwhelmed the opponents offense.

They dubed (sic) ( :-) ) it the amoeba defense! As in, the hungry little protozoan cells...

Folks, this is a case where spelling smack is perfectly fair, and in fact, should be encouraged. "Amebia" is so far off from "amoeba" that if you weren't called on it, no one would have had any idea what the fuck you were talking about. Carry on.

LSWho saw this major buttramming coming? Even getting the flu the night before New Years can't take away from seeing Bo, Les, and Co. take Miami to the woodshed.
