That had to be a strange experience for Leinart to be outplayed by the opposing team's QB. He's been so used to winning, I can understand him being a little bitter. I'd expect a little more grace in defeat but tell me who wouldn't be pissed about being a couple minutes away from winning a 2-1/2 consecutive national title. Vince Young is the hot name but it still wouldn't be all that bad to be Matt Leinart right now either.

Bush's pitch shows that he is not ready for the NFL and needs another year at USC
this is funny, because you're actually
serious. hahahaha
I don't understand Leinart being a bitter guy. Is he the first QB to lose a stinking football game?

I think we are seeing the begining of the end of SoCalTrjn.

I'd give Leinert a pass for comments after a hard fought game where he did all he could do to win.
After the game, he and Bush went into TX locker room to congratulate them. THAT is a class move.

That's fucking priceless. Because of one ill-advised pitch, it shows he's not ready for the NFL? It didn't matter anyway. Texas started 22 players from the state of Texas. By my count, USC had at least 5 players start that weren't from California. Therefor, they shouldn't have been in the game.

Classy indeed.
Leinart was pissed after the game. In his eyes he thought they were the better team. In my eyes, I agree w/ him. Texas had one player that had an out of this world game while USC had 4 players(Leinart, Bush, LenDale and Jarrett) who had great games. He probably just couldnt believe that his D let him down after he spotted them 38 points.
Props to Vince Young though. He won that game single handedly.

Young did win the game...but UT certainly played well enough as a team to win. Young didn't tackle White on 4th down, did he?

Again, for the eleventy billionth time, there is no such thing as a football player single handedly winning a game.
VY had ALL NIGHT to throw the ball, and he had wide open running lanes on those designed QB draw plays.
He wouldn't have had those two things if he were playing behind Akron's line.
VY also didn't make a single tackle.
VY played a monumental game but enough already with the "He won it single handedly!" hyperventilating...

Exposed to be what exactly?
Motherfucker is one of the best QB's ive ever witnessed at the College level.
You, on the other hand, are a takeless cunt who has never brought a readable fucking thing to this board.
And what the fuck are you doing pulling for those sister banging hicks in Texas when you live in Cali?
You cant give oral to a shotgun fast enough, you fucking pussy.
RACK SC's awesome run. I have no doubt that they'll be back again next year.

A whinny little bitch who has little accountability for himself but will gladly toss his team/coach under the bus.
The guy is a great college QB. Walking over to congratulate Texas is classy. Subtle jabs at your running back, your defense, and your coaches is cuntish.

I don't know how I'd come off with a mic in my face after such a game. I think that I'd resolve, before the game, to stick to a few guidelines...
-DON'T blame teammates
-BE GRACIOUS in defeat, and give props to the winner
If I needed to whine about things, I'd save it for later, surely the team will be doing enough of that privately anyway. Why would you do it twice?
