CNNSI article.
What? Even if it had THE best facilities in the world, would you go to Stillwater, OK if you are an elite athlete?

As a supposed self acclaimed Sooner fan I would have expected you to know that Barry Sanders wanted to go to OU and that his father wanted him to go to OU as well. Barry Switzer did not offer him a scholarship. Oklahoma State only offered him a shollarship at the last moment. Barry Sanders was far from a prize recruit coming out of high school. If Sanders were being recruited today he
might be considered a three star runningback but more likely a two.

If that is your definition of money going "directly to the University of Oregon athletic department", then I suppose you also think eating a tuna fish sandwich while jerking off to a picture of Jessica Alba is the same as directly eating her pussy.

Ahhhhh, that was funny. I don't agree with your previous post but I'll give you a pass cause this was just so damn funny.
You mean the one in which he stated
facts?
Wow.
No, really -- that money for U of O comes from Phil, not Nike...dumbass.
RACK Jay-btw. Funny stuff.
And tell you what Vito, why don't you take the late-run BART Richmond line, get off at Berkely, and start telling everyone you see how "soft" they are. You'll be fine...really.
Add Davis to schools that go by their city name. California has about a million of them.

If I did, I'm pretty sure those grenola eating fema-nazi's dykes will kick my ass. The males there (notice I didn't use the word men) would hold hands gather for a protest and then jerk each other off to the song "Its raining men". After that they would cuddle while complaining about those damn Republicans.

Depends on whether or not Tejas was in on him. If they were, he'd be a 4 1/2 to 5 star, depending on who you asked, and touted as the second coming of Cedric Benson... Otherwise, yeah, he's a 2 star guy all the way. Too small. No breakaway speed. No hands.

At the time he wasn't considerd elite. Hart Lee Dykes, on the other hand, was considered elite. As were his negotiation skills.

he may have not been considered elite but he obviously was.

Perceptiojn is reality on the field until proven otherwise.
He went on to prove the scouts wrong and was a great athelete. And the point of the reply still stands Barry didn't want to be in Stillwater he wanted to be in Norman... a thought that still makes me sad in my pants.

San Diego doesn't fit that rule either. Maybe it's because there's a UCSD, a USD and a SDSU.
BTW, I heard that sum maroon anonymously donated $100 million last year to Yale's school of music, and now they're not charging any tuition to their music students. Makes you wonder WTF happened to some peoples' priorities.
