Looks like Q had it just about right.
J. Plummer 18 for 30 223 yards 60.0% 1 TD 2 INT
Oh, and let's not forget the 2 lost fumbles.
Yep, nailed it.
That defense was wreaking havoc.

The early line is Pittsburgh by 3. Given that they are a 6th seed playing a 1 seed, that's pretty good respect....finally.

Yeah....
now if you want to say he had good footwork and the ability to avoid the pass rush via moving in the pocket, then yeah I'd agree.....

He doesn't fit the mold of the prototypical scrambling QB, but to say he's not mobile is quite the idiotic statement and indicative of one's intelligence.
When it comes to passing on the run, Roethlisberger happens to be one of the most accurate and best QB's in the NFL.

No respect? Come on, are you telling me the nationwide media hasn't been sucking the collective cocks of Ben, Bettis, Parker and Ward all year long? Pittsburgh has always been an "America's team" type team. They've got fans all over the place, have a storied history, and flat out just do not lack anything in the notoriety department. What about Seattle? They've made it this far, they're a 1 seed, and still, no one outside of the pacific n'west thinks they can or will win.

Thanks Mr. Einstein....
next time I find myself in need of a discourse on quantum physics, I know where to turn.....

Which is the definition of mobility for a QB. Unlike guys like Plummer and Vick who can put together highlight reel runs but can't throw for shit when under pressure.

Sorry B, this is simply semantics....my definition of mobility and yours simply differ.....
but props to the Steelers and Mobile Ben.....

The minute you mutter anything remotely intimating that Ben isn't a mobile QB, solidifies your bust in the halls of idiocy, felix.
This is all very perplexing given that in those hallowed halls that you frequent, the ability to move one's wheelchair about with a knob is a feat of great enormity.
Idiot.

great analysis--you're now on my short list for poster of the year/smartest guy on the block.....
My guess is that's why Ben holds the record for the highest completion percentage
after an initial hit, is because he's so mobile
Fran Tarkington better beware--Mobile Ben's after his record......

What does that have to do with Ben's mobility?

Indicative of getting hit a lot.....
but again B, were talking semantics........
Mobile to me is somebody like Plummer that can often times outrun his pursuers....
In yesterdays game, how many sacks do you think the Steelers would have had if not for Plummers speed.....10 or 12......
Rothlisberger moves in the pocket very well, but he's not what I consider to be mobile compared to somebody like Plummer.....
like I say, semantics.....

Getting hit a lot and mobility are not necessarily mutualy exclusive. The Randal Cunningham outside should have told you that.

Okay, you've beat me down.
Apparently you simply can't grasp the concept that mobility insofar as quarterbacks goes means different things to different people.
So in your (Ken's and Pitts newest bandwagonner fan mvs) honor, I hereby admit that Ben is the most mobile quarterback in the NFL.......
[thereisntarolleyebigenough][/thereisntarolleyebigenough]

It especially means different things to people who don't know what the fuck they're talking about.
Shit. Rack that.
It's crystal clear to me now how SG found it so easy to administer daily beatdowns to the grill of felix.

B you found it...the picture that proves Rothlisberger is mobile....
thanks for showing me the light...
mvscal wrote: It especially means different things to people who don't know what the fuck they're talking about.
Hmm, Steelermvs on board with another solid "you don't know what the fuck your talking about" take...you go girl....
edit: I actually meant "you're" instead of "your".....
I'd hate for Ken to have to use up his entire smack arsenal correcting my spelling...

And here's the immobile one with his feet seemingly cemented to the ground while taking a sack late in the 4th.
Here's another. I particularly dislike how Ben isn't even thinking about using any sort of mobililty in this situation. He's content to take the sack, dammit.
Ben is so frustrating sometimes.

The reset was inevitable.
Post ONE says it all.
Now - everyone and their sister is on the Steelers JOCKS! Where were you all back before the Colts game!?
The Karma between Reothlesberger & Bettis is just too great to be coincidental. At the end of last years loss to the Pats, Ben went to Jerome and asked him for one more year, and he "promised" that he'd get him back to Detroit for the SB.
The tackle of the century after Jerome fumbles.
The crazy wide right kick by the most ACCURATE kicker in the History of the game!
NoW,
I'll JUST say this one last time - - - -
"Congrats, Ben Roethlesberger, you've just won the Super Bowl XL, where you going next?!"
"I'm goin over ta JEROME's Ma's house, for dinner!"
