I will give her one more chance before I drop the shark tag on her. If the next album sucks, then she get's the shark tag.

Is she is even touring/recording anymore? The Pieces of You stuff was okay...but it went downhill after that. Some were comparing her to Dylan...a kiss of death.

Jewel was getting compared to Dylan? That's the most odious bullshit ever. This is a performer whose most famous lyrics go thusly:
I brush my teeth and put the cap back on
I know you hate it when I leave the light on
I pick a book up. Turn the sheets down.
Take a deep breath and a good look around
Put on my pjs and hop into bed
epic stuff. yep, comparisons to Dylan should definitely ensue.

LOL.
on the Sting thing: I always feel compelled to relay the best quote about Sting i've ever heard (and i like the Police--but the sentiment here is inarguable).
from Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickenson: "Sting acts like he's the only person on planet earth who has ever read a book".

Yep. I'll never forget the video he made when his wife gave birth. Sting manages to procreate, and we have to fucking watch the result? He acts like he's the only man to knock up a woman.
He gets limited props for the Dune appearance. That was an effective use of the man called "Sting". Too bad Lynch couldn't work him in with other flicks...only Lynch can cast actors and utterly mock them unbeknownst to them.

One of my guilty pleasures is shamelessly posting Smackbat resets...my Ode To Lovebuzz --
I hear the clock, it's 6 AM
I wonder where my pecker has been
I'm in a cheap motel, Buzzer is too
Don't remember much, but I'm sure I slung goo
I wipe my eyes and see that nasty face
Oh dear Lord get me out of this place
I wipe the crust off my dick and find my keys on the floor
Holy shit, what a dirty fucking whore
Blisters last for so long, even after she's gone
I know she fucked me, when the tests come back we'll see
You infected me, and several others too
Called up PrimeX he was out for a walk
Consoled some penicillin but it didn't want to talk
Went to the doctor it was more bad news
My peepee is dripping, my balls have turned blue
A simple raincoat would have spared me this pain
I tried Saran-Wrap it just wasn't the same
Cause I was drunk and she was there
When I get that hammered I'll put my dick anywhere
Blisters last for so long, even after she's gone
I know she fucked me, when the tests come back we'll see
You infected me, and several others too
I wanted to do my business, I thought she was fine
She looked even better when I did another line
Same old story, I'd have to say
She weren't looking so good the next day
I wash with bleach and I try to get clean
Could be worse, I could be listening to Ween
If my friends saw me last night I'll be forced to lie
#1 rule of hogging - DENY DENY DENY
I can't belive I nailed that thing on the bed
I'm still alive but my penis feels dead
I try to tell myself it will be alright
But I don't think I should go out drinking tonight 'cause
Blisters last for so long, even after she's gone
I know she fucked me, when the tests come back we'll see
You infected me, and several others too
Yeah, I'm an attention whore, so sue me.

How do you compare Jewel to Dylan? Aside from they both play an accoustic guitar, I fail to see where you would even start the comparisons?
That's like Milli Vanilli comparing themselves to Elvis and Dylan after winning their Grammy.

The Champs - post Dave Burgess, Jimmy Gordon and Chuck Rio.
As Seals and Croft still hadn't discovered bahai, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

About half of those tunes (OK, maybe a little less than half) are cool, the other half -- well, if I was tanked in the bar and those came on, I'd be inclined to begin a methodical choking of the bartender until the pain stopped.

Anybody remember Wendy Williams and the Plasmastics ??
They did a gig on SNL where she took a fucking chain saw to a TV set. When your real high and drink, that is fucking hilarious.
I guess she got arrested for banging herself with the michrophone at some show.

Don't be dropping no silver spoon smack now that we know this....
Anything in the 229 was crusin easy...
although there are a few bangers there nowdays...
I worked for that district about 18 years ago... fixing the roof one day and leaned over the side... there was some chick knobbing this guy on the side... I told my co workers, we all watched ... then fucking cheered when the guy nutted all over her face.

Shiiiiiit.....I'm from the 225, anyway.
And the freaking worse (at that time anyway) neighborhood in the entire county was a couple of blocks from SHS. Freaking Marlene Village (I didn't grow up too too far from there, at all), complete with Outsiders and Gypsy Jokers clubhouses, the Swastikas flying from flagpoles in the front yards, the open meth trade...yeah, we was silver spoonin', alright.
Great school. The kids from the Village got to walk past a Ferrari parked in the student lot while they figured out what they were doing for food that day or that week while wearing their brother's hand-me-downs...no social problems out on the west side...nope. Fuck, we used to have kids over to my house who didn't have food, and the parents were too wasted to care.

Ahh... the early subdivisional experiments....nothing says 1955 like that place...fucking shit holes...delivered heating oil in there several times, my nephew goes in there several times a week to arrest people and separate the warring meth freaks....great to see those guys beat the shit out of their significant others...I beleve there's been a couple of homicides in there...
and yes that area has some real contrasts in life and culture...you go over on 107th area there, and you can have a shit hole 2 bedroom house cooking 5 pounds of meth a day, and it will back up to a 1 million dollar home.
