Yeah, I'm sure a quarterback's first instinct is to take out a blocker's knees on an INT return and not make the tackle. Afterall, the game tape was just so obvious this was the case.Dinsdale wrote:Can't. Stop. Defensive backs do this almost routinely.
If you don't want to argue this honestly
Priceless.
Did you actually watch the game?
The flag wasn't for tackling below the knees, you complete fucking retard. It was for going into a blocker's knees, which has been outlawed for quite a few years now.
You know, SINCE WE'RE ARGUING THIS HONESTLY, and all.
Oh my goodness. Funny shit.
Let me guess -- Darryl Jackson was incorrectly flagged for aiding terrorists abroad, and not offensive interference, right?
I'm eagerly awaiting the next "fact" that you make up out of thin air in this "honest argument."

Jake is out. Jay is in. Finally.

I knew what they flagged, I just know it was an attempted tackle and not a block. Logic would dictate a quarterback who runs at a defender who has just intercepted his pass is trying to get the defender with the ball down, especially when his body is right beneath the defender's legs. Yet because there was a blocker beside the returner, they gerrymander the call to apply to the blocker. If you honestly think that's fair, then you should work as an NFL official. I hear they have good part-time hours.Dinsdale wrote:Dude...you're arguing about calls when you don't even know what offense they were thrown for. Makes everything else you say sound equally foolish.
This would be an extremely good time to live and fight another day.
