Why are we not surpised by this response?

Are you satisfied that marty has a 6-2 record against a squad that has won 13 games the past three seasons? Is that how they measure success in SD?

I guess winning division titles and playoff games is not important to the chargers and their fans.

Yea, they should try the Raider way of firing the entire coaching staff every three to four years wether they win or not. That would work much better.

^^^^^^

what Bri said.

BTW... I'll tell you one thing for sure....I'll take the Bolt's record since Marty came.. over Alice's abortion of an organization during the same run.

You may wanna bail while your behind slick.

In your numerous feeble attempts to justify a steeler SB win unassisted by the Zebras, you fail to realize one fact: The Raiders didn't fire their entire staff.

kyoa.

Now go get your shine box.

I'm sure you would. Whats marty since he came on board four years ago? 2 games over .500? 0-1 in the playoffs?

Like I said, mediocrity.

But hey, just as long as your happy, right?

You're right. Sometimes they didn't even last 3 years.

You know, since Bill Cowher was hired in Pittsburgh, here's who's coached the Raiders.

2005 Turner
2004 Turner
2003 Callahan
2002 Callahan
2001 Gruden
2000 Gruden
1999 Gruden
1998 Gruden
1997 Bugel
1996 White
1995 White
1994 Shell
1993 Shell
1992 Shell

And the Raiders record over that period of time?

107-117

That's right pudnocker. The team that once boasted the winningest regular season record in all sports is 10 games under .500 for the past 14 seasons.

Meanwhile Cowher clocks in at a nice 141-82-1 with a Super Bowl ring and a boatload of division titles.

But hey, Alice's "fire a coach every 4 years" approach is the way to go.

In the Shell press conference Al made mention of Pittsburgh, and remarked that he admired the coaching continuity,
and how it paid off well for them. He basically said that he wished that he had gone down that same path 12 yrs
ago by not firing Art Shell.

Al is a man drunk with power. Right now he's just waking up from his latest binge and he's feeling sorry for it. Let's see how he feels in another few years.

Not me, Paul.

Long live Al.

Those with selective memory don't care to look back just a few years to when Davis' Raiders
owned the AFC West for 3 straight years, went to 2 AFC Championship Games, and a Super Bowl.

Unless Al dies first, there is more success coming his way.

Art will get the ball rollin' the right direction again.

That was all because of Gruden who he let get away. Those with selective memory tend to forget that as well.

Art? You have to be kidding.

SFF....how old were you when the raiduhs last won a Super Bowl?..let me help you out, it was 19and84. Do you remember the Los Angeles Raiders?

...26 years ago!..if you are under the age of 35, the answer is probably NO!...in which case you're just spewing the rhetoric of the "old fart" Raiderfans who actually lived the Raiders "glory years".

Far be it from me to deny the three Super Bowl wins, they were convincing in each case. The record book speaks for itself.

But lets bring it into the last quarter century...one Super Bowl apperaance, same as the Bolts, and a horsesh!t record over the past many years.

A team controled by a senile old bastard who doesn't realize the league passed him by many years ago. Mr 4.2 lives in the glory days just as most Raiderfans.

I'm the first to hook up with any "live and die" NFL fan. My Raider buds are solid and much appreciated. Guys like Too's, Pop's, R.J., Loco, The Assassin have my respect (for what it's worth.)

Try analyzing the Present...(last 10-15 years) and lay low on the 26 year old smack. Ask yourself (better yet ask Alice)..what have you done for me lately??..."Just lose Baby"

I'm not one of your buds?

Try analyzing the Present...
Okay. Lets look at the last five years:

san diego chargers: AFC West Champs - 2004

Oakland Raiders: AFC West Champs - 2000, 2001, 2002
AFC Champs - 2002

Well, we know why you may not want to voice your "takes" anymore...being that you can't seem to remember what side of the fence you are actually on during these debates. So it's better that you just voice your opinions from the peanut gallery and claim to be our official score keeper.

Well if Oakland wins next year, the same time will have elapsed since their last title that you had to wait for your most recent.

Wrong dumbass and since they can win it, it makes plenty until proven otherwise. Since it may be another 26 until PIT wins, it makes even more.

When you do something like NWE talk to me but it has been another lifetime since your guys dominated too. That was weak ass but we're used to that from you.
