A confrontation with Iran is all but inevitable at this point in time. Control of the Straits of Hormuz will decide the battle. The UAE also controls smaller ports that can be used to get around the straits should Iran be able to establish a temporary dominance over the straits. This makes them the most strategically vital country on Earth.
Also they are entitled to a little reciprocal courtesy after they have opened up their country to us and done an excellent job of it. How many of you dumbfucks have even been there?
