Certainly, it's hard to play games out-of-state when the Outback Bowl is in Tampa every year.

Are you serious, you mouth breathing little pussy? Try venturing more than 600 miles to play a fucking game. It's easy to win 9 games a year when you don't have to worry about going to a different climat or playing anyone that you don't already know like the back of your fucking hand.

So smart one, when the hell should ND schedule their games? Seeing as how the schedules are set years in advance, it's kinda tough to peer into the crystal ball and see who will and won't have a winning record 4 years down the road.

If you're going by how many bowl teams you play, before the season, take a look at ND's schedule from last year. Run down who they played, how many were bowl teams, and what bowl games they went to.

At least FSU and Miami have the balls to play outside of the south. You, your pussy AD, and your pussy coach, are perfectly happy staying in one place and essentially playing all of your games at home.

I'm not saying shit about UF's conference schedule, because the SEC is one of, if not the toughest conference (all the rest of you, save it). It's the pussy OCC you guys schedule. FSU? Fucking great. They're a natural rival in your own fucking state. You, UF, and the SEC in general, are pussies of the highest order. Name one other conference that doesn't travel to other parts of the country to play anyone? You can't. Maybe the SEC is so good because they never play anyone outside of their comfort zone. Props to Auburn and LSU for at least breaking away from that inbread mentality

Call me board bitch, type "WAAAAHHHHHH", but I have yet to ask you why you have to be such an asshole, or have my coach break down and cry like a bitch after his team loses.

Good night now.

Nothing like seeing fans of TWO overrated teams get into a "discussion."

N.D. hasn't won a bowl game in over a decade and the other hasn't been good since the old ball coach left. Why are either one talking?

On second thought, in order to be overrated someone actually has to think you're good in the first place. By that logic, Nebraska can't be overrated.

Being that Nebraska dominated for 2 decades, they get like a 5-6 year window where they can try and reload. Same goes for Nole fan.

Ok, then if I can't discuss how football teams are overrated based on my own team, can I discuss how your smak is overrated and in this case doesn't make any sence.

After all, this discussion was about how good Florida and N.D. were going to be this coming year and how difficult there schedules were. I don't recall begining my smak with a rant about Nebraska.

P.S. When Nebraska finishes 11-3 with yet another bowl win I will return to running my smak.

Sure it does. How does this not get through your head?

Your AD and coach have no say in your conference affiliation.

But they do have a say in:

Eastern Michigan
Middle Tennessee St
San Jose St. (CA)
Florida A&M
Ohio
Alabama-Birmingham
Louisiana-Monroe
Ball St. (IN)
Western Michigan
Citadel (SC)
Central Michigan
Georgia Southern
Louisiana-Lafayette

You've had two out of conference opponets in the past 10 years that had a legitimate chance of beating UF, Miami and FSU.

You, your school, and your coach are pussies.

Shut your fucking piehole. UF will have the hardest schedule and you want MORE?????? Fuck off you piece of non-making sense notre-tard.

Please explain your whacked out notre-tard logic. Yeah, you guys ALREADY have the hardest schedule.....can you make it harder please by scheduling harder games please.

WTF!@@W#Q@!!

EXPLAIN your stupid fucked up logic. It makes no sense. If we were in a shit conference or played no one.,.......I could see your thinking BUT when we play the schedule we do......why make it even harder? Yeah, that sounds like a pussy to me.....OH, you are playing EIGHT bowl teams.....can't you find three more?????

You sir have serious UF issues. Make sense then come and play, notre-tard.

You know, for someone who claims to be older and more mature than everyone on this board, you sure do go to the "tard" care rather quickly.

Let me explain this logic to you. UF has no control over their conference schedule. They do have control over their non confrence schedule. They don't play anyone in their non confrence schedule and if they do, they are FL teams. Your school is pussy because when they have control over who they schedule, they don't schedule anyone that would make UF travel and give them a tough game.

No one north of the Mason-Dixon line, and rarely a team west of the Mississippi.

And as you have pointed out many, many times, you can't judge a schedule before the season. So save your shit about your slate being the toughest in the country. You have no idea if that will end up being the case or not.

Now that we're done with the schedule talk, lets talk about why you think UF will be #2 when they can't score any points against half way decent teams.

At least your not a Gaytor homer.

Every place Urban has been the SECOND year has been the year that the offense has made a huge leap statistically. There is a huge learning curve for his offense. Period.

Year TWO for Urban.

We return a ton of starters and talent.

Leak is a senior.

You dodged my remark. Everyone is pretty sure that the toughest conference will be pretty tough year in and year out. Don't need a crystal ball to know that every year. When's the last time the SEC only had 3-4 bowl teams? I say again....I will bet any amount of money that UF will have a top 5 SOS right now. You don't need Miss Cleo to tell you that one. Why would we need to make a top 5 SOS HARDER? Instead of calling names, define the logic. You didn't. You voiced some notre-tard opinion.

At least say it would help recruiting in the north or something. Not YOu think we are pussies even though our schedule is still one of the hardest WITHOUT your suggestion.

Please try harder, this is boring.

Its not a University of Florida specific phenomenon to play patsies or all instate games OOC. Its pretty much the way the entire SEC does things. Georgia has not left the south to play ANYBODY in more than 40 years and out of 36 OOC games collectively played by the SEC a couple years ago, only 5 were on the road and of those 5, only 2 were out of state, at such tough places to play as Naval Academy and Wyoming.
SEC honk will puff up his chest and talk about how great that conferences record is not understanding that collective pussy playing is a huge determining factor in those records and those teams reaching bowl games.
I wont say that they dont play great football in the SEC, they have some very good teams in that conference, but when the entire conference starts conf play 3-0 (or now they will all start 4-0) due to purchased wins vs patsie programs, you have to question the validity of those records

Considering that they have eight bowl tie-ins, and you need only six wins to be bowl-eligible . . . :meds:

Of course, they fail to fill their bowl quota as often as not.

I'm honestly amazed that you function at a high enough level to log in and type something. Of course, you know what they say about chimps and Shakespear.

Did you read anything I wrote? If FSU and Miami weren't located in Florida, then your pussy school wouldn't schedule them. The only reason you play anyone of significance OOC is because they are located in the same fucking state. Your school is a pussy school.

So, dramatic improvement is expected out of your team, but not out of anyone else, and specifically Notre Dame? Glad we got that straight.

And those big jumps Opie has put up have been in weaker confrences where he could out athlete teams and run his gimmicky shit and not have it blown up by teams with just as good, if not better athletes as Opie.

Leak is a senior, who still can't run Opie's offense. So, what's going to happen? Is Opie still going to pound that square peg in the round hole, or is he going to go with a more pro style offense? If it's B, then you can throw all that bullshit about Opie's teams improving in their second year because all of that happened while he was running the spread.

You start at A, try real hard to get to B, but end up at 57. Keep trying.

taking a look at the 2006 SEC schedule....

48 Out Of Conference games
8 of those games are played on the road
4 of those 8 require the SEC team to leave their home state.

the 4 SEC OOC games played out of state will be played by just 3 schools, Vanderbilt plays at Michigan and at Duke, Ole Miss plays at Missouri and Miss St plays at Alabama-Birmingham.

Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and LSU play ALL of their OOC games at home

Only Vanderbilt has the balls to play half their games at home and half on the road

Georgia only plays 3 out of 12 games on the road, they play a neutral site game with Florida who only plays 4 out of 12 of their games on the road

Only 13 of the 48 OOC games are vs BCS conf teams but 4 of those 13 are vs teams that were at or near the bottom of those BCS conferences a year ago.

Louisiana-Monroe managed to make 3 SEC schedules as they continue to sell D1 wins to the SEC

Boy, you know, if they had a playoff and allowed more than just two teams to play for the title...maybe teams would grow a pair for the non-conference season and play someone without worrying about one or two losses. I oughta put up a fuss over this or something.

SEC AD's actually pushed for the NCAA to allow teams to play 1 non 1A opponent a year now that theyre playing 12 regular season games.

I think that for teams to be eligible for BCS bowls they must play 11 regular season games a year vs other BCS conf teams and 6 real road games a season (neutral site games dont count) That gives the schools that need to play the instate patsies to keep the money instate one chance a year to use that excuse
