Also, thank you for agreeing with me that our schedule is such that it doesn't matter.

Thank you.

Preseason? You sound like USC fan on Auburn a few years ago. Preseason? Who cares?

This is very tired.

buck: Who doesn't want to see elite match-ups. I, however, am going to trust Jeremy Foley, our AD. I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Thanks.
So says the man who is backing up his entire argument by saying that UF has a preseason top 5 SOS.

Why is it so hard for you to admit that you do play pussy OOC teams and that that has been your m.o. for 60 years?

So what stops any of the big named teams from just scheduling pussies? Michigan, Texas, Ohio State, FSU, Tennessee, LSU et. all could very easily use your argument and say "well look at the confrence schedule we play! Why would we want to schedule any other tough teams?" but they don't because they want to have the reputation that they will play anyone, anywhere.

You? You'll play some teams. But only if it's in the south. And this won't change with Opie and Foley.

Exactly. For all of Trixie's badmouthing of ND's schedule last year, he hasn't offered anything in support of Florida's schedule in '06 that couldn't have been said about ND's '05 schedule at a corresponding point in time.

And ND at least traveled outside its region, and outside its time zone, to play.

Hey T REX you always speak of this TOP FIVE SOS...well according to NCAA.org here is what I found...

[web]http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/2005/Interne ... s_cumm.pdf[/web]

according to this link Florida had the 27th toughest schedule.

So could you enlighten this crowd as to where you got the 5th toughest schedule?

Thanks in advance

This year. I said this coming year all along. I will gladly wager $1000 that UF will have a top 5 SOS at the end of the year.

well that would mean

Tennessee, Georgia, and FSU would need to rebound and have outstanding years...

Tennessee sucked last year
Georgia is losing A LOT from their Sugar Bowl team
and FSU would need to rebound from an 8-5 year

your schedule still has MSU, Kentucky, Vandy (who will be worse this year), and Ole Miss...not saying these teams couldn't rise up

I mean it could happen, I'll grant you the knowns...Auburn and LSU are going to be very good...Miami should be very good...but a lot needs to happen for your schedule to be top 5...would you not agree? Sounds like you are basing your assumption on LSU and Auburn being very very good...and hoping other teams rise up...couldn't any fan for that matter make the top 5 SOS claim? ND fan could, OSU fan could, OU fan could...just sayin'

This is ridiculous......

Tenn will be much improved.

UGA is UGA. Under Richt they reload not rebuild.

FSU will be much improved as well. Myron Rolle will be a freaking stud for them. They got a great player. Electrifying is the word.
