If Bushs family paid rent, even if it was bellow the 1700 average for homes that size in that neighborhood, then there is no violation. Show that they lived there for free and then maybe you have something

Or just wait a few weeks while you figure out financing.

I'm pickin' up what you're laying down. I figure I'd sarcastically beat everyone to the punch.

I know I am probably in the vast minority on this board and in general, but I see a huge line between these two incidents.

I guess the way that I look at it w/r/t Peterson/Lexus is that the NCAA would then have to investigate 116 other D1A football teams and about 300 D1A basketball teams to see if anyone else was in violation. They don't have the man power to do that, and in the end, they are spending dollars to chase pennies.

As far as the Bush thing goes, there is potential contact with and agent, and the possibility that he and another teammate had endorsement contracts with a major apparal company.

Maybe it's the difference between raping a prostitute and raping a nun. Like I said, I am probably in the minority.

New Era are not agents, they tried to contact an agent and he wanted nothing to do with them and they have no clients.

If the NCAA was coddling USC they would have let Mike Williams play in 04/05

So if 2005 is wiped out, is USC still on a 20-some game winning streak?

In fairness to Jimmy Medalions, I've been busy taking one company private and closing $400 million in acquisitions at the same time. Sleep, what's that.

This 'story' about Bush is funny. It will go nowhere and the ucLA Times has already blown the credibility of the guys who came forward with the story.

It's laughable to see anyone on this board get filled with moral conviction on this stuff. Questionable conduct occurs at every major program, and this development is thin from the outset.

Fun thread, though. Move on.

Pay no attention to the dumbfuck who doesn't realize that the rent on said house is 2 grand, or the fact that said family does not live on food stamps.
