China wasn't shooting at our planes, and North Korea didn't have terrorist training camps complete with 747 fuselages up and running, and Iran wasn't flouting a treaty they had made after being defeated by us in an attempt to conquer their neighbors, our allies.

Granted, idiot is an understatement in your case. The point (for those with the capacity to follow) is that Korea is a regional problem in a region containing S.Korea, Japan, China and Russia. It is best handled multi-lateraly if possible. Iran wasn't in the process of flouting treaties (and they hadn't attempted to take over the entire region recently) at that time didn't have a history of using WMDs and didn't have the direct ties to terrorist organizations aimed at the US (Hezbollah, as vile as they are are focused on Israel). And China is a long term problem, but hadn't actually been in direct support of those attacking us, unlike the Taliban and Sadaam.
