Well break it the fuck down Joe Morgan. Come on dazzle me with your baseball knowledge. I didn't see anyone else slinging belt high soft poo in the 9th with a 1 run lead.

It's not my job to explain the dynamics of a baseball game to a bandwagoning spankee fan. But nice try. Reread this thread and enjoy your All Star win, I'm sure it means so much to you. Simpleton.

Somebody just made their play for induction to the KYOA Hall of Fame.

I won't say who, but it might have been the person who didn't see the game who is now offering to explain what happened in it to somebody who did.

But I won't say who.

Dear God, please tell me I didn't just read that? Maybe there actually is someone here dumber than Crown.

When they interviewed the giggling managers from the dugout is when I tuned out. It didn't seem too "serious" to me. I did take in the highlights thru several major news articles. Not difficult to draw my conclusions. Are you saying you sat thru this whole game?

Are you a believer in God?

There is.

They're called Yankee/49er/Blazer (soon to be Heat/laker) fan from Oregon.

I'm surprised his knees haven't given out with all that jumping.

Uhm, considering that Ozzie is fully planning on getting his team in the WS, I'd say it was pretty fucking serious.

But are you saying that your local papers are trying to pawn off last night as something besides Hoffman getting absolutely OWNED? Or did they actually report that he wasn't the one throwing softballs?

I'm not a believer in God...until he shows Himself to me by removing your ability to type stupidity.

Why would they-those Carolina Hurricane pads are supporting his knees just fine.

I knew this thread would get bumped. :x

The Glaus pitch was the only bad one. Young actually hit a pretty good pitch. That's what happens when you are used to pitching to an inferior league. You get accustomed to getting people out even if you miss your mark by, oh, a half a foot.

Hey, I gotta defend my earlier statements in this thread a little bit at least...

Outstanding all-star game btw...

Disagree.

For a pitcher/catcher unfamiliar with Young, it wasn't horrible. But after Hoffman put the first two pitches in good location, yet still damn-near watched Young crush oppo blasts, you'd think anyone with any brains might mix it up a little bit, instead of putting more pitches in the same spot, and getting posterized.

That is NOT good pitching.

Hoffman kept going away because the 3rd baseman was playing behind the 3rd base coach.

We've been through this -- the NL team NEEDED to cover the line with 2 outs, otherwise a hard hit ball towards to dugout might have broken one of Arroyo's nails.

Yeah. He needs those nails to play flamenco guitar with minorities on the Pittsburgh waterfront.

After last night Hoffman is at 477. One more to tie, two more for the record.

With 10 games to go, unless either Hoffman or the Pads completely shut down, he might get option 2.

If he beats the record by 3...then what?

JCT wrote:Oh one other thing.

You really think that Rivera will pick up 5 more than Trev after the all star break? I guess we'll see...

Yes because this is Mo's option year and if he pitches in 60 games this year he's guarenteed for next year. :D
Care to revisit this prediction?.

RACK Trev for tying the record.

Went to Petco last night. Peavy was dominant. If Hoffman's situation were not there they might have sent Jake out for the ninth.

One more observation.
Josh Barfield and Mike Cameron are getting some very clutch hits.
Piazza hit a triple on Friday. Image

Another reason why you San Diego pussies are second rate window licking dumbfucks.

Because you know, The Raiders havent been playing "Hells Bells" upon leaving the tunnel since the 80's or anything.

Lets see-which one fits here: That song for a fucking chaw spitting redneck baseball closer who pitches 1 inning, or for a football team known for hurting motherfuckers, even going so far as to paralyze a gaytriot.

Just complete the circle and bring the fucking Clippers back here-it'd be fitting since your football and baseball team are both the Clippers of thier respective sports.

And 500 saves equals how many championships again?

Fucking tards.

I wont even get into your horrid shit staduim-you idiots should all be shot on site for approving the abortion known as Petcoil park.

Truth hurts, huh?

Maybe if your fanbase could *gasp* come up with something original instead of ripping off nicknames of the greatest players ever who have multiple rings (the one and ONLY LT) and having an average hick who's greatest asset was his longevity trying to act badass by using a song 20 years after the Raiders had been using it (And has been used at the start of EVERY home game tunnel exit and 3rd/4th down situations) since it came out in '80, you wouldnt get fucking jacked at every given opportunity.

Instead, San Diego tard fails again. How shocking.

And Fuck Trevor. Any sane human being with baseball knowledge would take Mo over Hoffneck any fucking day of the week. During his prime, MoRiv was absolutely unhittable and considered the best in the bigs (besides that Flamethrowing fat slice of Canadian Bacon in Dodger Blue). Hoffslit in his prime was nothing more than good.

Your "new" stadium is also a laughable clusterfuck of a bandbox. For starters, unless you're the Yankees (who have a great public transit system in place) you should probably think twice before deciding NOT to opt for a stadium parking lot. Dumbfucks.

What is it you're trying to say -- that Sand Diegans are generally tards, and wear it like a badge of honor when it comes to sports?

Thanks for that, MarcusTime.
